Beschreibung

Hey! We are Cali and Austin, a couple from Massachusetts originally. We met a few years ago at UMass Amherst, Cali studied Sustainable Food and Farming and Austin Legal Studies. We both graduated with bachelors degrees, and lived in Colorado for sometime. We currently live by the ocean in Maine (with our two lovely cats).
Both of us have a passion for travel and adventure and enjoy outdoor work. Austin has worked on golf course grounds maintenance for years, and has been enjoying working with several dogs a day for Invisible Fence the past few years. He has visited Costa Rica, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Caymans and several other fun places. Cali has had several farm, garden, and greenhouse jobs and currently works with a specialized home gardening business called Perpetual Bloom. Along with plants, she has an incredible passion for painting, sculpting, and photography. Recently she has delved into the world of cordage and basket making out of locally foraged materials. She has been traveling throughout her lifetime and has gone to several countries including England, Scotland, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Hawaii.
Most recently we volunteered for three months at a permaculture farm through workaway in Costa Rica. There we learned about and participated in making an earthen floor, creating and using biochar, maintaining a compost toilet, growing vegetables in a tropical climate, and so much more. We look forward to continuing our adventure, meeting great people, seeing beautiful sights, and learning new things! Hopefully we will see you soon!
