Beschreibung

Hi there, we're Leni and Linnart a couple from a little town called Greifswald in northern Germany. We are both 18 years old and finished school in summer of 2025. But since we both figured, we're not yet ready to take the step into the usual life past school, meaning attending University, we instead made it our goal to explore different countries, cultures and landscapes first.

As already said, our motivation would be to escape the boring circle of studying to get to know how life is lived ouside our own experiences and comfort zones. Besides our almost fluent english skills, we're keen on and relatively talented at learning new languages, which of course is a main goal of ours. We both speak Swedish on a moderate level too, and Leni had Spanish lessons for 2 years in school.

Our hobbies are mostly based outdoors, being in the nature, helping in the garden or taking care of our indoor plants. Furthermore we both like being active and doing sports, Linnart is talented in any kind of sports with a ball involved while Leni likes to go for a run and will be running her first half-marathon in October.
Additionally, Leni danced for 8 years and takes interest in anything to do with crafting, drawing and being creative (for example crocheting), while Linnart enjoys science, wanting to study medicine when we get back to Germany. Leni also really enjoys reading and we both fancy board games and to spend time with new people.
We both play instruments, Linnart the piano and guitar and Leni plays the drums. Besides, we have siblings, a younger brother (Leni) and two older sisters (Linnart) and take care of a cat.

We both are not afraid of getting our hands dirty and to get involved in different types of tasks. Together, we have experience in cooking (having both worked in hospitality over the summer), cleaning and general maintenance work. In addition, we are comfortable with taking care of plants and outdoor duties, helping with household chores or projects and are very animal loving (especially cats).

We take general interest in learning new skills, connecting with new people and getting to know more of a culture than in a short trip spend in a hotel. As said, we both really like to cook and enjoy really different kinds of food. Despite that, it should be said that Leni doesn’t eat meat or fish, but has no problem with preparing it or seeing others eat it.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As stated in our previous introduction we enjoy all kinds of activities, reaching from playing our instruments and being creative to exercising. We would love to help with different chores around the house and outdoors, for instance cooking, cleaning and taking care of pets/plants.
In addition, we have experience in hospitality, so we know how to work with customers as well as keeping a place tidy and clean. Also, Leni did an internship for 2 weeks in a school (6 to 10 years old) and worked for 2 weeks with older kids (15 to 18 years old) and Linnart did an internship at a veterinarian, taking care of sick pets.
