Hi there!

Up until now, I've been in 5 Workaway projects:

First one was starting at the end of June 2021, where I stayed with Laia, the hostess, Santiago and Simone, two other volunteers, and Lluna, the beautiful cat. We were helping Laia to pull out weeds; we made preserves of seasonal tomato sauce, which locally falls in the middle of summer, and we were here and there with the maintenance of her old and large house in constant renovation. Until end of July.

Second one was starting first days of August, where I stayed with Francesc, the host, two other german volunteer girls, and the beautiful trees surrounding. Basically, Francesc shows you the area around, which lives by growing, harvesting fruit trees with awesome blossoming season of pink and white flowers, and in exchange he asks for a bit of help to improve his spoken English. It was fun, one night we all played karaoke and there is a few historical places where you can go on excursions nearby. The town is quiet and peaceful. I was there for a week or two.

Third one, a bit after leaving Francesc's place, at the end of August, I arrived at Núria and Marc's place, where I stayed with them and their lovely dog Melic; I was helping with their agritourism, making the beds, doing the laundry, cleaning the bathrooms, walking the dog, working in the vegetable garden, measuring some land for the upcoming projects and so on. I also had time to indulge in my own activities, such as yoga time, strolling in nature, and creating other bubbles. We made wonderful blackberry jam from nearby bushes. And Nuria gave me tips on how to make our own soap, deodorant, fabric softener and other sustainable and local options for our everyday life.

Forth, mid April 2023, I arrived at Elma's home, where I felt full of Love instantly.
I was in charge of walking her three puppies (not puppies anymore) Oa, Lola and Nina.
She is a busy woman who works a lot and needs help with taking care of these lovely companions. Also, I was sweeping up the pinnace that fell in the garden everyday, since there is a very big old pine. I also had time to rest, which I needed, and time to perform my own activities. I stayed three months with all of them. In the meantime it was her birthday, I remember cleaning and preparing the place to be ready, and also being invited to the party.

Fifth, and last one for now, mid August, I arrived at Raul's place, where I stayed with him as a host, with his dog, his kitty, the hens, a mare, and Raul's children, a boy and a girl. He also has a work schedule outside the home and needed someone to take care of the garden and animals. So I was feeding and watering them everyday. The place is quiet and rural, but there is a train line passing by just beside the home, so you need not to mind hearing it some times a day. Until September.
