We'd love to Check out New Zealand in detail. Therefore we plan on living a mix of vanlife and couchsurfing/ hosts and hostels, where we can meet new people and get to know the culture.

Beschreibung

Hey there!

We're Benjamin (left picture) and Leopold (right picture). Born as cousins and growing up in Germany, we're now off to explore the world after our graduation. We're 19 and 19,5 years old and two open minded, easygoing, enthusiastic and kid friendly guys, looking forward to meeting you. Our current plan is vague, but our goal is simple, fly to New Zealand and get to know the culture, people, nature and atmosphere there by our selves! To achieve our goal, we want to drive from north to south and visit as many beautiful places and people as possible in one year. Our ideal place to stay for some weeks or even months , is a farm where we experience the nature and work with animals, kids and helping maintain the property itself. But we're open for other kind of work and genuinely just interested in the ways to live life outside of Germany.

Although I'm the younger cousin, I've graduated in summer 2025 and since helped my parents at home and worked at a local dining and event location as a waiter and kitchen help while waiting for Leopold to graduate this year. I love playing volleyball at the regional level and hope to improve further. Besides that, my hobbies include photography, carpenting, swimming and some editorial work on the computer (Photoshop, video editing, Powerpoints) as well as gaming. In my free time, I love to meet up with my friends or just enjoy life to the fullest. To me, communication in complex situations and a positive attitude towards new people have great value.

I just got out of 13 years of school and am thrilled to travel!
During my school years, I did lots of work placements, for example at a bike repair shop, in a nursery, and in a theatre's costume department.
I love nature, music, sushi, to be creative in any way, or spending time with friends outside as well as in game. I also enjoy learning new things or stepping outside my comfort zone.
My hobbies include sport, art (especially painting), meditation, sewing and woodwork.
Last year, I got a spot at a special college for art and I'm interested how it'll turn out to be...
However, the thing I'm looking forward to the most, is to gain completely new experiences of the world in NZ, especially about the country and it's people, and to work on a peaceful farm.
