Hello, my name is Lucie, I'm 37 and I used to be a librarian in Paris. I love exploring and discovering new places and cultures. I've traveled around Europe and Southeast Asia and I'm now converted to slow travel. I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, cooking, drawing, boardgames… and most of all sharing stories and experiences!
I have backpacked for 2 months in Morocco at the end of 2024 and I have loved discovering the country, its culture and the very nice welcome everywhere I went. Now I want to go beyond the tourist itinerary, settle in a place, get to know its people for a few weeks and learn darija!

I want to become a French teacher for foreigners. I have teached classes with NGOs in Paris, and I have followed some courses and Moocs about it. I have worked mostly with adults, but I am also looking forward to teaching children.

Before volunteering in Morocco, I have been wwoofing in Denmark for 5 months and in Portugal for 8 months, learning about sustainability and permaculture in small farms and market gardens. Now my goal is to teach French and/or English. II have some experience back home, and I have studied a bit to become a French teacher for foreigners, and I want to put those studies into practice!
