Hi! I’m Ayo, a fun, open minded individual hoping to find some interesting opportunities and new experiences whilst I travel. I love films, music and being in nature . I’ve done two back to back winter ski seasons in Australia and Japan where I’ve fallen in love with snow. I love picking up new hobbies and sports, I really do believe in trying everything once. I am currently backpacking Southeast Asia and searching for unique volunteer opportunities to seek out some cultural exchanges and be introduced to places/people I wouldn’t have if I stayed on the traditional backpacker route. To walk in other people’s shoes is the greatest way to gain knowledge and understanding . I love Meeting new people, and what’s a more perfect way to do that workaway!

Being able to speak more than one language or a little bit of a lot of languages is a life goal of mine. I would really like to be able to communicate with locals when I tray and am eager to do a language exchange. Currently I am only fluent in English.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have 4 years experience in hospitality (bartending, barista, waitress, catering), I love hospitality since it’s so social. It’s given me great customer service and housekeeping skills. I don’t shy away from hands on/ outdoor Manual labour work either, I’ve done some snow clearing this season and don’t mind being outdoors in the elements for work. I am willing to try my best at anything, no work is outside of my comfort zone.

Was noch ...

I can talk about pop culture, movies, music for hours. I love to learn about other people’s interests. Since I recently picked up snowboarding it has opened my mind up to wanting to learn other outdoor sports. I would love to learn how to surf, I live hiking and being outdoors . Cooking with and for others is one of my love languages and exchanging stories of life is my favourite way to connect with people.
