Hey! I’m Chris — a British citizen originally from Australia, currently travelling through the UK and Europe. I’m easygoing, open-minded, and happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing.

I’ve worked in a mix of environments — from hospitality and hostel work to helping out with general house tasks, basic DIY, and even some creative projects. I’m quick to adapt, good with people, and not afraid of a bit of hard work (or mud). Whether it’s cleaning, cooking, gardening, or just keeping good energy around the place, I’m happy to help wherever I can.

I'm looking to experience new places, meet great people, and contribute in exchange for a roof and a good chat. I’m also happy working independently or being part of a team. If there’s music, food, or something a bit weird involved, even better.

I have a diverse skill set developed through various hands-on experiences. As a bartender in a pub, I honed my customer service, multitasking, and communication skills, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. I’ve also gained responsibility and attention to detail while house and animal sitting, taking care of properties and pets with dedication. Running my own small landscaping business allowed me to develop entrepreneurial skills, from managing projects to working independently and providing high-quality results. Additionally, my experience in tractor operation and bailing has strengthened my ability to handle machinery and perform physical tasks efficiently. I've also volunteered within my community, which has taught me teamwork, leadership, and the value of giving back. Furthermore, my work as a carpenter has sharpened my practical skills in construction, problem-solving, and precision. These varied experiences have helped me become adaptable, reliable, and versatile in any environment.

I enjoy playing board games as they’re a great way to challenge my mind and have fun with friends and family. I also love going on adventures, especially hiking, as it allows me to connect with nature and explore new places. One of my dreams is to learn how to sail, as I’ve always been fascinated by the open water. Additionally, I'm passionate about learning new languages, as it opens up opportunities to connect with different cultures and broaden my horizons. I'm always looking for new experiences and ways to grow!
