Hi! I'm a 25 year old in BC, Canada, and I am excited to gain some new experiences and develop some skills. I love hiking, kayaking, writing, reading, and plants!

Beschreibung

I am pursuing a career in teaching, but I derive joy from many different areas of life. I enjoy outdoor pursuits such as hiking, as well as reading literature, writing poetry, and making meaningful connections with others. I also am a lifelong learner, interested in learning about health and wellness, environmental sustainability, and psychology. New experiences excite me because they help me to expand my understanding of the world and its infinite variety of perspectives.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have worked with high-risk children and youth for almost four years, and I have myriad experience with teaching and tutoring ESL. My most recent experience is 2 years teaching grade 3 and 4.

I also have experience working on 2 different farms. One of these was a three-month internship I completed at an environmental centre. During this internship, I also led outdoor educational and assisted with planting and harvesting vegetables. The other farm was a cattle ranch in rural B.C. I learned how to assist the ranchers during calving season.

I additionally planted trees for 3 seasons in British Columbia. This was an incredibly laborious job that taught me discipline and perseverance.

I enjoy swing dancing (pre-covid), drawing, painting, and some cooking. I also love music and theatre.
