Experience the Canadian Wilderness like never before from the back gate of our amazing and tranquil haven.
Located on the upper benches of the mighty Fraser River in the heart of the North Cariboo region, our recently purchased farm is truly a diamond in the rough.
Forests, lakes, mountains, creeks, grasslands and rivers are all part of our unique and peaceful location.

We are an energetic, middle aged couple with three adult children of which two are married. Our farming background goes back well over 20 years and includes poultry, cattle, crops, vegetables, fruit, horticulture, and egg production. We follow many non-traditional farming methods that lean heavily toward environmental stewardship and long term sustainability. Rosie has her Master Gardener Certificate and both of us have completed numerous Holistic Management courses and workshops.
Given our background, education, and love for helping others, we have become involved with teaching people in Cuba how to grow their own food and raise livestock. We have a passion to see lives of under privileged people in this world gain a better life and are therefore strong supporters of micro-business projects in places like Haiti, Ethiopia and Cuba.
Having sold our cattle ranch and poultry business in 2018, we are looking forward to developing our “new” 160 acre property into a small productive farm which will include crop, vegetable (especially garlic), fruit, Christmas Tree, and cattle production.
We hope you will consider joining us as we strive to steward the land under our guardianship and make a difference in the lives of people both locally and abroad.

Wildlife viewing on our 160 acre land base is frequent, as our isolated setting at the end of a dirt road is surrounded by forests.
Our ranch in located in the historic Cariboo, home of the Cariboo Gold Rush. Located nearby is Barkerville, Canada's largest historic site visited by many international guests each year.
Hiking, fishing, canoeing, ATV'ing, mountain biking, rock climbing and wilderness camping are just a few of the activities you might experience during your stay with us.
Internet is not available at the ranch, however we travel to Quesnel or Williams Lake once a week where you will have the opportunity to catch up with family and friends at several, free internet cafe's in the charming downtown core. Buying a SIM card with a good data package is highly recommended as this will give you internet between trips to town.
