Beschreibung

Hello! My name is Annina, I am 33 years old and from Heidelberg, Germany. I am planning to take a year off to travel through Europe, starting in January 2026. I am an open and curious person, eager to meet different people and learn about their lifestyles. This year, I have chosen to step away from conventional paths and embrace a freer way of living. I am excited to take this step and explore life on my own terms – close to nature, in inspiring communities, and through new experiences that challenge and inspire me.
By profession, I am a psychologist and psychotherapist, which has taught me to listen deeply, reflect, and value meaningful conversations. I enjoy hiking, traveling, social activities, and exploring spiritual practices. I am also active and disciplined – as a former competitive tennis player, I learned endurance, teamwork, and dedication. I am a flexible and open-minded traveler with a love for exploring cultures.
I will be traveling with my little poodle "Willie" (male, 3 years old, 3.3 kg), who is very friendly and brings joy wherever we go.
I am motivated to be part of Workaway because I want to broaden my horizon, learn about organic farming and permaculture, and experience life in a community. This year is about embracing freedom, exploring different ways of living, and being part of a meaningful exchange – both learning and contributing.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I bring a versatile mix of practical and personal skills. My background is in psychology and therapy, and I have completed training in dog-assisted therapy. I enjoy working with both people and animals and love creating supportive and warm environments.

At home, I take care of a small garden and grow my own vegetables in a raised bed, I love working outdoors and taking responsibility. I am disciplined, robust, and not afraid of hard work. Helping in the household feels natural to me, and I am eager to learn more about manual and craft-related tasks.

Personal growth and inner development are very important to me. I bring a lot of experience in self-reflection and am incredibly open to new perspectives, ways of living, and learning from others. While I don’t have specific spiritual training, I am curious about practices such as meditation, community living, and sustainable lifestyles.

For me, Workaway is not only about contributing with care, responsibility, and creativity, but also about sharing and expanding my journey of growth and openness.
