Beschreibung

We are two 19 year old girls from Hamburg, Germany.
We finished school in the summer of last year (2024) and simultaneously did an apprenticeship to be chemical-, technical assistants, which we finished in January of this year (2025).
Allegra is calm and organized but loves to go on adventures and experience new stuff as long as it is ok with her autism. Shirin is adventurous, open minded and also loves to try new stuff and meet new people. Shirin is a vegetarian, and loves to take care of animals. Hosts who can provide a vegetarian diet would be ideal, however she also has no problem with making her own food.
We like creative and artsy stuff like music (we play a few Instruments), painting, writing and photography. Also we have no problem with physically demanding work.
We have wanted to go on an adventure for years and have finally gotten around to planning. We would love to experience new cultures and countries as Workaway volunteers. Since we both grew up in a big city, we would like to spend some time closer to nature.
Both of us have a little experience in working in small family gardens and we also both have/had pets.
We always wanted to see the northern countries, especially Norway.

We love humans of all kinds and sizes (except for the homophobic, sexist, racist, fascist ones :)).

Update 2026:
Unfortunately Allegra will be busy for the next few months so I (Shirin) will be travelling alone for now. I started my work and travel journey in New Zealand on January 15th. I will be staying here for a few months and am now looking for some hosts I can work with while I enjoy the beautiful nature and culture of this country.

I have worked in an Escape Room for the past 6 Months and as a staff member in a concerthall for the past 2 Months. I’m reliable, open-minded, and always happy to lend a hand.

I have some exeperience in gardening, house painting, animal care (cats and bunnies) and customer service. I'm looking forward to expanding my skill set in the future.

I would love to work at a hostel where I can meet people from around the world. However I also love to stay at off grid places in nature. So I really am open to many types of experiences.

Unfortunately I don't have a driver's license or my own car, yet I have no problem with long bus rides and/or walks.

I'm always eager to learn new things. So if I'm lacking a skill that I need, I would love to get taught and will put in all the effort to actually learn it.

I wanna hear about peoples stories and culture and share mine.

We have a little experience in working on small family gardens but we have not worked at a big farm yet.
We both have/had bunnies and we also took care of our friends' cats and dogs so we have a little experience in caring for them too.
We would be grateful to learn new skills and have no problem with hard work.
