Hi, my name is Alfons. I am German but live in Victoria, Canada for the last 25 years.
For the last 2 years I have been studying Italian and now I want to explore the country, it’s language and culture. I am really excited of seeing different parts of the world and interact with different people.
What brings me joy, I love kayaking, curling and my garden. Hanging out with great friends.

Being professional trained as a jointer , furniture maker. For 15 years I run my own woodworking business. Still working in my profession every day and loving it. Besides the technical skills I am self disciplined, responsible, have a great work ethic, be creative, work well in teams, have a high integrity, confidence and motivation.
My hobbies are ocean kayaking, curling and my vegetable und flower garden. For the last two years I am very motivated in learning Italian.
I am gladly offer my language knowledge to others, also would love to further my knowledge of the Italian languages and culture.
This is the first time for me to do a work away engagement, I am super excited about it.
