Hello! I am Aico from Taiwan 😊

Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by the Japanese language, traditional shrines, and pop culture. Studying psychology in university helped me grow into a compassionate and thoughtful person who values emotional well-being and human connection.

I previously worked as an education & training specialist, and I’ve also joined several volunteer programs where I supported both children and adults—offering assistance, emotional support, and meaningful interactions. These experiences have deepened my love for cross-cultural exchange and inspired me to live and learn in different environments.

I hope to stay for at least one month or longer, as I truly want to immerse myself in the daily life and values of Japanese culture—not just as a traveler, but as someone who becomes part of the local rhythm. Although I don’t have past experience creating videos or managing social media, I’m eager to try recording the beautiful things I encounter. Unlike many influencers who focus on tourist attractions or entertainment, I’d like to share the thoughts, values, and perspectives of people from different backgrounds. I believe this can help connect people across countries and cultures, and allow us to better understand one another.

As a Workawayer, I’m happy to help with housework, child care, emotional companionship, or simply being a kind and reliable presence in your home. When I arrive in a new place, I introduce myself, and also conduct some small psychology activities that everyone can interact with as part of what I provide.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I studied psychology at university, which gave me strong knowledge in communication, empathy, mental health, and personal development. I also worked as a training and development specialist in a Human Resources team, where I organized workshops, supported employee growth, and helped others improve their skills through education and feedback.

Besides my full-time work, I’ve been involved in volunteer activities with both children and adults. Through those experiences, I learned how to listen deeply, support others emotionally, and build trust in different environments.

I speak Mandarin Chinese fluently and I’m continuing to improve my English every day. I'm happy to teach my native language or even share fun cultural insights about Taiwan. I'm also learning Japanese and would love to practice more during my stay!

I'm not a professional content creator, but I’m starting to explore how to record meaningful experiences through photos or videos. I’m passionate about using stories to connect people across cultures.

Whether it’s practical help, language exchange, emotional support, or just friendly conversation, I’m happy to contribute in a warm and respectful way.
