I am currently located in Newcastle, England but would like to do a Workaway in the South of France over the summer of 2025!

Beschreibung

Bonjour/Hello! I am a happy and healthy English girl who has time in the summer to help anyone needing an extra pair of hands. I have spent the past year running Eat Smart projects in schools to teach children about reducing food waste. I am also the volunteer facilitator at a Food Waste cafe where I manage the volunteer programme for over 150 volunteers. In Jul 2024, I graduated from Newcastle University in England where I studied nutrition and psychology and I also completed an extra course in advanced French. Before coming to university, I au paired in Paris for 6 months and did a lovely work away at a luxury guest house in the South of France. I absolutely loved working in the South of France and have decided I would like to do it again this year , with the intention to perhaps move to the South of France! Experiencing the French culture and learning the language is something I enjoy doing. Meeting new people and sharing experiences with them is also one of my favourite things to do and I therefore cannot wait to meet new people while helping with cooking, animals and general household tasks. I am an easy going, communicative and friendly person who is keen to get involved in lots of activities and loves a challenge. During my free time I take lots of sea dips, hike with friends and cook meals for my housemates! I look forward to hopefully meeting you soon :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am an all rounded person who does not mind working hard when I need to. I am very used to helping around the house as have always done that when I lived with my family, au paired for a host family and spent time working at a guesthouse. At the guest house, I helped with daily tasks such as helping to serve breakfast, laundry and cleaning. While being at university, I have become skilled in cooking nutritious and delicious meals for myself while being adventurous and making new dishes! Alongside university, I volunteered Front of House and in the kitchen where I served drinks and food. When I was young, I helped out on my grandmother's farm by looking after the animals and helping out where I can. My dad enjoys fixing things himself, so I enjoy learning tips from him and assisting him every now and then. Since visiting France multiple times and teaching young children English, I am able to share my knowledge in English while also being able to communicate in French!
