Beschreibung

Hello everyone!
I'm Lena, 25 years old and from Germany. I'm a person that loves being outside, appreciates nature and likes being surrounded by people. I'm communicative, open minded, friendly and easy going. I love to travel and get to know people from all around the world, their traditions, culture, food etc.
After I gratuated high school, I worked as an Au Pair in Canada and New Zealand. I really enjoyed my time with the children, the whole family and travelling throughout the countries.
In 2022, I got my bachelor's degree in social work and stayed in Slovenia for half a year on an Erasmus programm before graduating, which was absolutely amazing. Then I decided to take one more gap year before working as a social worker in Germany, travelling widens the perspective in my opinion and enriches my life so much!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm adaptable, keen on learning new things, patient, spontaneous and tolerant towards other ways of living and different opinions or religious beliefs. Besides, I'm communicative, interested in many things and don't mind getting my hands dirty.
Back home, I've been working at a transitional housing for people with mental health problems and I have collected many more working experiences in the past like working at a bakery and as a waitress, working with disabled children and adults, renting out boats, sellling organic fruits and vegetables on the local market and so on. Outside of Germany, I have been working as an Au Pair twice and helped out at an animal sanctuary in Northern Croatia which was a lot of fun! In Nepal I've been volunteering on farms and at an orphanage which was fabulous as well!

Was noch ...

I'm pescetarian which means that I eat fish but no other meat. However, I'm pretty relaxed about it and don't mind people eating meat next to me/ preparing meat myself. I like taking photographs, hiking, being outside, cooking, eating and travelling in general!
