i stayed at Vince and Rosie's place for 3 weeks and that was actually paradise . They were so nice to me all the way and I got to stay in a wonderful room with my own bathroom . On top of that I was provided 3 meals a day even on my day off. I met really nice people there and Rosie and Vince both have a really big heart and interesting stories to tell . The only thing is that you're 30 mn away from Bocas town and this is not the place if you want to party but for me that worked really well as I was friend with the staff that made me feel welcome right away. Overall a wonderful experience thank you to Rosie and Vince I will not forget that

Stayed for twenty days on this funny boat and couldn't have been happier. It's a big project and there are a lot of things to do. The cabins are very comfortable and I started to feel at home very quickly on there. I had plenty of time next to my workings hours to swim, get a beer or enjoy my time any other way. Michel and Emmanuelle, the hosts, made me feel so welcomed and I felt very included at all times. I couldn't recommend more to anyone that wants to get out there, work with their hands and have fun. This was my first time volunteering with workaway and I can say it sets the bar quite high PS: the food was always great ;)

Lovely experience. We would have love to stay longer if we could but we had to go to another destination. Saranya was the best host you could expect, very sweet and kind. The accomodation provided was amazing and the food incredibly tastefull and with a large variety of options. Saranya would always ask if the job we had to do in the garden wasn't too exausting for us. Thank you for having us, we loved our time with you and learned a lot of new things.

Kim was a delight to have around. She joined us for a short time while we were amidst the chaos of a kitchen remodel and helped us out with whatever needed to be done. She was easy to talk to and quickly became part of our family. She took care in doing things well and was sweet and kind. We recommend her highly!

Friederike is a lovely woman. She was helpful, kind, soft spoken and easy to have around. She enjoyed the work in the gardens, placed a lot of care in the work she did and was able to work well independently as well. We highly recommend her to anyone!

Thank you for everything, I’ve had an amazing experience staying with you. From the moment I landed at your place, you have made me feel at home and part of your family. You always make sure everyone feels welcome and appreciated, and I think that’s why everyone wants to come back. Your devotion to this amazing project made me want to work always harder because you don’t boss people around, you lead through example, and it really is inspiring. A good way to describe my experience would be: hardcore work for hardcore hosting. I’ve learned so much with you and I can’t wait to come back (because of course I will). If I’m leaving with something is these two sayings: “ Every action counts” and “ Do your best, and when you know better, do better”.

Tati was one of the loveliest woofers we’ve had. She was truly interested in what we’re doing here and asked many pertinent questions. She worked hard and enjoyed even the strenuous tasks. She even offered to do extra work to help us out and learn more. She was a pleasure to have around: sweet, friendly, adventurous, kind, strong and compassionate. We couldn’t have asked for more and recommend her without reservation!

The space created here is one of the most welcoming and harmonious I've experienced! The work, the community, the nature, and the teachings were so inspiring and rewarding! The food and accommodation were amazing as well! Everyone really operates from a place of pure love and you can feel and see it in the smallest of details. I think regardless of what background you come from or what you believe in, you'll leave here with more peace of mind and tools to navigate through life in a more positive way! Many thanks to all past, present, and future volunteers/residents that dedicate their time to keeping the sanctity of this place intact 🙏🏼

I stayed with GG on her beautiful farm for a few days and I had a wonderful time! The work was easy and the time was just flying by. Our little workaway family got along so well and GG has a wonderful family that stops by ever so often. We had a lot of fun together! GG also took us to the dawn service and that was a very special experience I'm glad to have experienced. Thank you for everything GG! :)

Nadja joined her friend who was already with us and stayed for a week. She was an enthusiastic and willing worker, sweet and friendly. We highly recommend her and wish she could’ve stayed longer with us!

Like many others here, this was my first workaway and I had a wonderful experience!! I immediately felt welcomed into the little community at the gardens and I looked forward getting up every morning to water the plants and soak in the outdoors. The surroundings are beautiful and the gardens are very well kept and you can see all the love and passion that goes into the place and it was a privilege to be a small part in helping out. The local staff and other volunteers are all very kind hearted and down to earth and I learnt so much about the natural world through them. I enjoyed playing music with everyone in the evenings and watching the sunset together. Part of me wishes I stayed a bit longer than 3 weeks here. Thank you very much for hosting me it was an unforgettable experience and I wish you all the best in the future. Lots of love Evie <3

Fue una estancia muy agradable. Nos encantó el entorno natural y la libertad que tuvimos. Guadalupe y Ricardo son muy amables y acogedores. A pesar de la barrera del idioma, intentan integrarnos en su vida cotidiana de vez en cuando, compartiendo comidas y meridendas. En otoño, las tareas son más reducidas y nos dedicamos principalmente a recoger leña para pasar el invierno, pero también pudimos renovar el departamento de los voluntarios, cuidar de las gallinas y limpiar las domos de los turistas. ¡Ha sido una estancia estupenda! ¡Gracias Guadalupe y Ricardo!

We had an incredible and unique experience with Mari and Anna. we absolutely loved our week with them and have so many memories that remain highlights of Nicaragua. As our first work away they were so welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. I feel we learnt so much from Anna and Mari, from how to cook plantanos, to be more considerate about being more resourceful by fixing things and using what you've got rather than buying it new. We loved the animals, cooking with Anna every day (her salads are amazing) and using fresh produce from the garden and teaching them monopoly deal! Thank you so much for this amazing experience and for introducing us to Trits!

I spent 20 days with this lovely host family in Rimini. Originally, I was planning to stay for about a week, but they kindly agreed to extend my stay even though my schedule changed. I mainly taught Cecilia Japanese. And I cooked a lot of Japanese food. Through conversation, grammar, and pronunciation, she was able to improve her Japanese skills in a short period of time, which made her happy. I was happy about that. During my stay, I enjoyed exploring the nearby towns, attending a party at Danilo's friend's house, visiting the lovely countryside with its olive groves, and having daily conversations with them. Their friends often visited their home and I enjoyed talking with them. My English conversation skills may have improved a little. Even as I write this now, various memories with you all come flooding back to me. Thank you for hosting me. Thank you Danilo, Alessandra, Nicolo, and Cecilia! !

Lauren stayed with us during a very snowy and wintry time of the year and it was a delight to see her joy in escaping the Australian heat and her appreciation for the inclement weather of Ireland. During her time here she helped with household chores including keeping the fire going ( it was cold weather !) and working outdoors in the garden. We also experienced a tree falling and blocking our entrance and Lauren was a great help to me in sawing through the wood and clearing the way. She also was very practical and a wonderful help with preparing meals and working with food in creative ways. I enjoyed learning from Lauren and appreciated her direct and clear communication and conversation. All is all this was a very joyful experience as Lauren was an engaging and and upbeat presence - she also got on well with my daughter. I would recommend Lauren to anyone who is welcoming a new visitor at their home. Thanks Lauren : )

Felicia was perfect to have as a volunteer and friend! We did the job, had fun, played games, talked about life, faced challenges, took care of each other, enjoyed each others company. We would love to see here again! safe travels.

This workaway is familiar, warm, and cozy. Monica and her family are really nice people who make my stay in Zaragoza easy and comfortable. Her little daughter is really great and fun. You will adore her from the first moment.

Our experience with Ollie here was perfect. We had fun, did the job, played games, contemplated life, faced challenges and enjoyed his company a lot. Welcome back any time, Ollie.

Roger and Brenda are so kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our time here a lot. We had always a good talk and they gave us good advices for our further journey.

We loved our time at Venessa's and have nothing but good things to say. Venessa gave us a variety of tasks to do which only took a few hours each day and we had plenty of time to hang out in the gorgeous backyard, inside the cooler house, or playing around town. We felt so comfortable and right at home and enjoyed our time cooking and chatting with Venessa and playing music with Paulie. I could go on and in with specifics but it all leads back to how much we enjoyed our time here and hope to be back!
