Our hacienda is a paradisiacal corner, nestled in the heart of the exuberant Manduriacu Valley. Surrounded by crystalline waterfalls, rushing rivers and a virgin jungle, it is the perfect destination for nature and adventure lovers. Imagine waking up to the singing of birds and the murmur of the river, and then exploring hidden trails and discovering the rich biodiversity of the Amazon.
This place is a serene refuge, nestled among the majestic mountains of the northwest of Pichincha. Surrounded by green meadows and ancient semi-tropical forests, it offers an idyllic escape from urban life. Mornings wake up to the singing of birds and the murmur of a crystalline river that meanders through the property. The nights, under an infinite starry sky, are the perfect setting to relax and connect with nature.
Our farm is a feast for the senses. Our cuisine, based on local products and ancestral recipes, will delight your palate. Enjoy homemade meals prepared with fresh ingredients from our garden and share unforgettable moments with our family. We invite you to immerse yourself in our culture and learn about our traditions.
We are committed to sustainability and caring for the environment. We practice organic agriculture, promote responsible consumption and offer our volunteers the opportunity to participate in conservation, agriculture and household work projects. Live a unique experience connecting with nature and supporting our projects.
Important Rafael Mena Nasser is the person in charge of managing the workaway page, updating the information, uploading photos and sending messages.
The food offered will only be from Monday to Friday, breakfast and lunch. The volunteer has access to the facilities to prepare their dinners and their weekend food (Saturday and Sunday). The food is at their own expense (they can take food from our farm and grown on our land).
Access transportation:
Ofelia bus station, MINAS fleet. Ofelia Terminal, Quito, Ecuador.
The bus schedule to access the farm is:
6:00 a.m.
9:00 a.m.
12:00 p.m.
There is no one to receive the volunteers after 5:00 pm.
We also welcome volunteers who wish to stay for medium and long periods (4 weeks and up).

Nuestra hacienda es un rincón paradisíaco, anidado en el corazón del exuberante Valle de Manduriacu. Rodeada de cascadas cristalinas, ríos caudalosos y una selva virgen, es el destino perfecto para los amantes de la naturaleza y la aventura. Imagina despertar con el canto de las aves y el rumor del río, para luego explorar senderos ocultos y descubrir la rica biodiversidad de la Amazonía.
Este lugar es un refugio sereno, anidado entre las majestuosas montañas del nor occidente de Pichincha. Rodeada de verdes praderas y bosques semi tropicales milenarios, ofrece un escape idílico de la vida urbana. Las mañanas se despiertan con el canto de los pájaros y el murmullo de un río cristalino que serpentea por la propiedad. Las noches, bajo un cielo estrellado infinito, son el escenario perfecto para relajarse y conectar con la naturaleza.
Nuestra hacienda es un festín para los sentidos. Nuestra cocina, basada en productos locales y recetas ancestrales, deleitará tu paladar. Disfruta de comidas caseras preparadas con ingredientes frescos de nuestra huerta y comparte momentos inolvidables con nuestra familia. Te invitamos a sumergirte en nuestra cultura y conocer nuestras tradiciones.
Tenemos un compromiso con la sostenibilidad y el cuidado del medio ambiente. Practicamos la agricultura orgánica, promovemos el consumo responsable y ofrecemos a nuestros voluntarios la oportunidad de participar en proyectos de conservación, agricultura y labores del hogar. La alimentación ofrecida seran unicamente de lunes a viernes, el desayuno y la comida. El / la voluntari@ tienen acceso a las instalaciones para preparar sus cenas y su alimentacion de fin de semana ( sabado y domingo) la alimentacion corre por su cuenta ( pueden tomar alimentos propios de nuestra granja y cultivados en nuestras tierras) .
Transporte de acceso:
Estación de autobuses de la Ofelia, flota MINAS. Terminal de la Ofelia, Quito, Ecuador.
El horario de autobuses para acceder a la granja son:
6:00 am
9:00 am
12:00 pm
No hay quién reciba a los voluntarios pasada las 17:00 pm.
También damos la bienvenida a voluntarios que deseen quedarse en periodos medianos y largos (4 semanas en adelante).

Arbeit
We like to receive volunteers with a good attitude and willingness to share with the family, to collaborate and to work on various projects that can be both in agriculture, as well as in matters of carpentry, animal care, DIY in general, garden care work. or gardens or in general, on day-to-day issues. The person who will receive them personally is AMEETA, the owner of the hacienda. We are very respectful and attentive and expect the same treatment in return.

Nos gusta recibir voluntarios con buena actitud y predisposición a compartir en familia, en colaborar y en trabajar en proyectos varios que puede ser tanto en agricultura, como en temas de carpintería, cuidado de animales, bricolaje en general, trabajo de cuidado de huerto o jardines o en general, en temas del día a día. Quien los recibirá personalmente es AMEETA , la dueña de la hacienda. Somos muy respetuosos y atentos y esperamos el mismo trato de regreso.

Our place is three hours away from the capital city ( Quito) there is a direct bus that passes both ways at the doors of our farm and departs and arrives at the OFELIA bus stop at the north of Quito. The nearest country village is san José de magdalena and twenty minutes walking and there are beautiful waterfalls and cascades, many fruit trees, and infinity hiking spaces to explore. We ask all volunteers to help around with tasks as needed. We exchange food and accomodations for work. we have grocery stores at the nearest town. We forbid the use of drugs and alcohol or innapropriate behavior. People who don´t respect these rules will be asked to leave.
Nuestro lugar está a tres horas de la ciudad capital (Quito) hay un bus directo que pasa en ambos sentidos en las puertas de nuestra finca y sale y llega a la parada de OFELIA al norte de Quito. El pueblo de campo más cercano es san José de magdalena y a veinte minutos caminando hay hermosas cascadas y cascadas, muchos árboles frutales e infinitos espacios de senderismo para explorar. Les pedimos a todos los voluntarios que ayuden con las tareas según sea necesario. Intercambiamos comida y alojamiento por trabajo. Tenemos tiendas de comestibles en el pueblo más cercano.
