  Hi and welcome to our family!
  We’re a working couple with two children, aged 6 and 10, living in Johor Bahru, southern Malaysia — just a few steps away from Singapore!
  
  We love travelling and camping, and often stay in homestays ourselves. So we understand what Workawayers value: safety, respect, privacy and a comfortable home.
  
  We hope you won’t feel like you’re simply “working” here, but instead become a big sister to our children, experience genuine Malaysian family life, and enjoy our home as a safe and welcoming temporary home.
  
  We welcome Workawayers every month, those planning to stay in Malaysia for a month or longer.

  我们是一对上班族夫妻，育有两个孩子，分别是 6岁和10岁。我们住在马来西亚南部的 柔佛新山，距离新加坡非常近，几步之遥即可到达！
  
  我们喜欢旅行和露营，也经常入住民宿，因此很了解 Workawayer 在意的：安全、尊重、私人空间和舒适的居住环境。
  
  我们希望你不只是来这里“工作”，而是成为孩子们喜欢的大姐姐，体验真实的马来西亚家庭生活，也把这里当作一个安心、温暖的临时小家。

  Arbeit

  What You’ll Do
  
  We’re looking for a kind, mature, patient and punctual big sister to support our 6- and 10-year-old children with learning and daily routines.
  
  - Help prepare simple breakfast, lunch and dinner
  - Support and supervise homework
  - Guide the children with piano practice
  - Practise Mandarin or English conversation with them
  - Occasionally help with hanging and folding clothes
  - The focus is childcare, companionship and learning support — not heavy housework
  
  What We’re Looking For
  
  - ABRSM Grade 4or above in piano
  - Fluent in Mandarin or English
  - Teaching, education or childcare experience is a plus
  - Genuinely enjoys being around children and is patient
  - Mature, honest, responsible and reliable
  - Punctual and committed to agreed schedules, Communicative and non-smoking
  
  Your Free Time
  
  We respect your privacy, social life, travel and personal time. You won’t be expected to stay home all day — you’ll have plenty of time to rest, explore and enjoy Malaysia.
  
  In return, we hope you’ll be a genuine, trustworthy and responsible big sister whom our children can feel comfortable with and rely on.
  
  Stay Duration
  
  - Minimum: 1 month
  - No maximum stay, as long as you have a valid visa or legal permission to stay
  - First week: trial period
  
  If we’re both happy with the arrangement, we’d love to continue for a longer stay.

  - 有教学、教育或儿童相关经验者优先
  - 真心喜欢孩子、有耐心
  - 成熟、诚实、认真、负责任
  - 守时，并能遵守双方约定的时间安排、愿意主动沟通、不抽烟
  
  你的自由时间
  
  我们尊重你的私人时间、社交、旅游和个人活动。你不需要整天待在家里，会有充足的休息和自由时间，可以好好探索和享受马来西亚。
  
  同时，我们也希望你以诚实、可靠和负责任的态度相处，成为孩子们信赖、喜欢的大姐姐。
  
  逗留时间
  
  - 最短：1个月
  - 最长不限，只要拥有有效签证或合法逗留许可
  - 第一个星期为试住期
  
  如果双方都觉得合适，我们很乐意继续长期相处。

  Your Private Space｜你的私人空间
  
  Enjoy your own high-floor private room with a beautiful sea view — a comfortable space to relax, recharge and enjoy your stay in JB.
  
  Queen-size bed
  Air-conditioning + ceiling fan
  Lights & Wi-Fi
  Wardrobe & basic furnishings
  
  Air-con usage: Up to 6 hours per day.
  
  You’ll enjoy the same breakfast, lunch and dinner as our family. Meals are mainly prepared by you, with occasional cooking by us on our days off. During your travels, meals won’t be provided.
  
  Kitchen use: ingredients, Kitchen utensils, cookware and cutlery are available for you to use freely. We simply ask that you clean everything after use and return it to its original place.

  你将拥有一间高楼层私人海景房 ，让你在新山住宿期间有一个舒适、安静的空间休息和放松。

  冷气使用： 每天最多 6小时。
  
  你将和我们一起享用早餐、午餐和晚餐。平时主要由你准备餐食，我们休息日偶尔也会下厨一起准备。你外出旅行期间不提供餐食。
  
  🍳 厨房使用： 食材、厨具、餐具和基本烹饪用品都可以自由使用。只希望你用后清洗干净，并放回原位即可。

  No pets

  After 10 PM, keep noise low
  Lock doors & windows when leaving
  Respectful language — no swearing or offensive words
  
  Thank you for helping keep our home peaceful and welcoming for everyone.
  
  There’s plenty to explore around JB & Johor, especially from Friday to Sunday!
  
  JB
  Enjoy heritage streets, temples, cafés, local food, night markets and malls like City Square, KSL, Mid Valley Southkey & Paradigm Mall.
  
  Nature & Fun
  Visit Johor Zoo, Hutan Bandar, Skyscape, beaches, waterfalls, LEGOLAND & Austin Heights.
  
  Weekend Getaways
  From JB, Melaka, KL, Genting Highlands & Singapore are also easy options for a weekend trip!
  
  Easy Transport
  A bus stop is near our home, with shuttle buses to nearby malls. Grab is also readily available, even without a car.
  
  Explore Together
  When we’re free, we’re happy to bring you to our favourite local spots. For trips outside JB, we can share travel costs and explore together!

  自然 & 娱乐
  新山动物园、Hutan Bandar、Skyscape、海边、瀑布、LEGOLAND、Austin Heights 等。
  
  周末小旅行
  从新山出发，马六甲、吉隆坡、云顶高原和新加坡也都很方便！🌏
  
  交通方便
  住家附近有巴士站，也有去附近商场的 shuttle bus，Grab 也很方便。
  
  一起探索
  我们没上班、时间允许时，也会带你去附近走走。若到新山以外旅行，可以一起 share 交通费用，一起探索更多地方！
