Experience family life with our hens and vegetable garden in Beynes, South Eastern France

  Beschreibung

  My 12 year old son, Eamonn, and I live in the countryside 2km from the nearest village with our dog, Bella and our cat Phoebe.
  I would like help to work in my garden to get the property into shape and also to create a vegetable garden in our field. I would also like to prepare a future living space for some hens and two lambs to keep the field clear. There are five appartments and our little house on our property so we have four friendly and respectful neighbours, but it's a quiet and peaceful place to be.
  A large upstairs appartment is available to accomodate you and give you some space, while meals can be shared with us in our house on site.
  I am of Irish origin and we are pretty laid back. We live in a beautiful part of Provence in the South of France, with fabulous walks, hikes, lakes and rivers to discover.
  We speak English and French and eat everything so if you're interested, give me a shout!

  I am Irish and have lived in France for 20 years, so I speak English and French. My son was born here and his dad is French s o he also speaks both languages fluently. We move visiting our area and like to hike with our dog. We have friends of different nationalities also which, so there's access to lots of different cultures. We love meeting new people and sharing what we have.

  Arbeit

  The property is on 1 hectar of land beside the river. The work includes clearing of scrub and moving some earth to flatten out the field, clipping back hedges and creating a plot to grow vegetables. I would also like to get some hens and two sheep to manage the grass in the field, so I need to create a living space for them.

  Unterkunft

  The appartment has three bedrooms, a large living area a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a large, roofed terrace which is a delightful place to relax.
  The appartment is available to any workawayers who would like to participate in helping out. Breakfast is available upstairs and lunch and dinner available in our house, which is onsite.

  Transport options are not very practical so you will need to have your own transport or else, I can collect you and you can use my car if you have a license.
  There are lots of beauiful sites to visit in the area and we are 1.5 hours from Aix-en-Provence, and about 2h from the sea or from the snow :)

  Bella is a mixed breed - half cocker spaniel and half logato romagnolo and she's full of love and fun! She loooooves our forest walks and her favourite thing is running really fast and sleeping on human furniture!
