Vielen Dank Euch beiden!

We had the unexpected pleasure of providing Wiktor with a home for some time. Wiktor is a positive-minded, enthusiastic and energetic individual who is active early every day. In the three weeks that Wiktor was with us, he did a lot of work for which we are very grateful. He is a friendly, cheerful person and good company to have around. The area is really green, full of forest walks and trekking paths and there are some nice hills and villages to explore. I highly recommend going left on trekking path and following it around the lake and through an empty river bed, really nice walk.
Its a perfect place for nature lovers
The area is quite remote but if you have a car you can reach Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and National Parks from here
They have a big olive groove, vegetable and fruit gardens and they plan to plant more to become self-sufficient.
The work consisted of pruning olive trees, mulching, cutting wood, planting bushes, trees, reorganizing permaculture garden and fixing garden fences and walls after a wild pig party.

Vom Host für Workawayer (Luis)
You don't often meet people like Luis in your life. From the moment he arrived, he brought a special positive energy with him. When we encountered challenges

We enjoyed some traditional Peruvian dishes, of which the Ceviche left an everlasting impression. He is also well on his way to baking beautiful breads based on sourdough. Somehow, a deeper spiritual connection was felt between us, which made us very open to each other.
We look back to the good deep conversations we had and the sunsets we enjoyed together. We really hope that we can welcome Luis again. He is a traveller, a kind of friend from another dimension, for whom our door will always be open.

Apologies for the late feedback dears. I had the loveliest time with Gianni and Linda; I spent about a month with them; building a really cool Pergola with wood; Gianni is a great chill expert on DIY projects, couldn't have best teacher, he gave me a lot of confidence and freedom to get familiar with accurate tools; we did a couple more projects,

Linda, is a corageous woman, who moved to the wilderness to create an eden and appreciate the gifts of nature. She shared her knowledge on plants with much care and taught me very patiently how to play the guitar, she is terrific and has a really gentle singing voice! Both of them threated me with so much respect and love; I felt so welcomed and free, the dogs Luna and Google, are tremendously sweet, they could share their love all day; last but not least, I learnt a lot about what is really going on in our planet, behind the mainstream news; these are very curious people and are very updated in what is going on; they enriched my journey in life. Deep thanks to you, from the heart, looking forward to meet again. Luis <3

We look back on a very pleasant time with Thomas and Ulrike. Two cheerful people who show a lot of interest and like to roll up their sleeves. They were a welcome addition. During our sabbatical year we stayed with Linda and Gianni for two weeks and felt very comfortable. The work was varied and not overwhelming (olive harvest, work in the vegetable patches, tree work). It was great that we were able to follow the entire process through to the finished (super tasty) olive oil.
What was particularly remarkable for us
… read more was that Linda and Gianni had great confidence in our work and that we were able to work very independently. We were able to benefit greatly from the knowledge and experience of both of them. The two did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome.
We were accommodated in a cozy wooden hut where nothing was missing.
Gianni and Linda are very interesting people: uncomplicated, relaxed and humorous. The joint meals (everything extremely delicious !!!) were a good opportunity for intensive discussions. Over the years, the two have created a little paradise for themselves and live a largely independent life. We were very impressed.Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.

We spent about 7 weeks in Lindas and Giannis small paradise, which is beautiful, quiet and secluded in the national park. There are olive trees, fruit trees and a beautiful vegetable garden with a large greenhouse and many wild herbs. They already make a lot of things themselves like bread, jam, pickled vegetables, they have their own olive oil

During this time we built a wooden shed with a roof and a bed for a wooden house with the help of Hannah and Reece (a very nice young work a wayer couple from England). We helped in the garden, painted three walls of the apartments with nice pictures, took nice pictures of the apartments for their website, went for walks with the dogs and much more. We cooked for everybody or cooked all together and had many nice evenings with delicious Italian, English, German and international dishes. They are very hospitable and open-minded people, they showed us something of the area at every opportunity, for example we made a nice trip to Salerno at Christmas time. We were even allowed to use one of the two super nice new apartments with kitchen and bathroom during our stay. The apartments are really lovely, clean and modernly furnished. We are very thankful that we got to know you, for all the interesting conversations and the funny time we spent with you and your animals. It is great that we could learn so many new things again. We will keep in touch and come back when we are in southern Italy again. ☺Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.

During the first weeks of their stay we worked together with another workaway couple, Hannah and Reece, and together we built a shed and made a chalet habitable again.

Due to family circumstances we had to go to the Netherlands unexpectedly. Yvonne and Markus stayed here that time, took care of our animals and did maintenance work on their own. We had a great time with them.

Reece and I had the most amazing time at Linda and Gianna's. From the moment we stepped through their door we were welcomed with wonderful food, great conversation and a fantastic way of life. We spent two weeks in Cicarale along with another couple, Yvonne and Markus, and I feel like the six of us made a great team with the jobs being split
… read more between us. 'The boys' had the task of building a wooden shed for storing tools, which included laying a foundation, putting in beams, cladding the walls and building a roof then tiling it. Whilst Yvonne, Linda and I spent our time doing bits of gardening, building a bed with recycled wood, clearing out one of their wooden chalets and helping the boys with the shed build where we could. During our free time and rainy days we cooked lots of wonderful meals with fresh veg from the local market and plenty of herbs from their garden, talked about everything and we even went to visit Salerno altogether to see the Christmas lights which was a lovely experience. We are both inspired by Linda and Gianna's eco project and we can only aspire to do something similar ourselves. Both have great knowledge in building, growing and Linda also knows about the medicinal benefits of wild herbs and plants whilst Gianna is a master of bread baking, both of which we enjoyed learning about. The studio we stayed in was also beautiful. This was truly a life changing experience for us and we're thankful to Linda and Gianna for having us and showing us their way of life and also to Yvonne and Markus for making our time there ultra special.
