I have a fruit and berries farm near Odda in Norway. The farm lays close to the fjord Sørfjorden,100 m away. Nice fore swimming and fishing. It is also possible to do tracking in the mountains around.
We are a family at 4 ..My wife and I are just above 58years. I am working fulltime at the farm and she is working as nurse in Odda. Have two children a boy and a girl. They are 29 and 31 years. They are living away from home ..having just got children..so we are grandfarents…
I have had help from students from many different countries during 30 years, but through another organisation. But would like to try out something new!
I have to say that I have not been to clever answering ,most because I find it difficult to put it together with guests how just can stay some weeks,so I have been waiting fore someone that can stay longer (more than one month) and then filling in if needed with somewone that can stay shorter..so if you just can stay some weeks you must email me before you want to come , and then we will se..

Its a nice area fore tracking , not far from Trolltunga (The path is a 45 min driv away) You will yse your boddy fore work ,test your practical skills. Gething som Norwegian food .
And and during the summer and autumn we will take some trips around with you if we have time .We have a bike to borrow and even a boat and some fishing rods.

I need I person who is enthusiastic to want to help. A person who take it serious ,because I am running a farm and its my living ! The person who come to me is therefor very important for me and my farm. You have to help 5 hours a day
or 25 houers a week! I need to pick my fruit before they hit the ground ,so its real work!!
If you have backproblems or others, they dont goes away if you starts working at a farm, you need to be fit.!l!! So be realistic and honest abouth abouth yourself and to me...and if we agree abouth a staying stick to it and not say you can stay 4 weeks and some weeks later 2 weeks and then 1..you make problems for me but also they a am hosting..if I have to do the work you should do, and have not time to take care of my workawayers..because this is how it work ..
THE fruit and berries need to be treeted with care they must not be squiest or dropped. So you need manages to fokus at your work!!
TASKS..its not just to move around you need a will , a idea and some energi to manage to fokus!!

We also want a sosial person a person who are interested in things , ask qestions ,talk ,being sosial.
If you are two coming and we have more workawayers you must try comunicate with them ,invite the to go with you hiking or other activities. Trying to go along with them. Its nice if all feels that they are included.!!
You must try to talk in inglish during work..
If you can make some food it would also be nice.! You have to wash your roon once a week ,and when you leave .
You will be picking fruit and berries cutting gras ,making new feelds of strawberries (we dont have strawberries this year). or cuttiing trees, you will follow the season and all the diffent tasks as follows during time when growing of berries and fruit trees
If you come during the winter ,your tasks will be helping pruning the fruittrees ,perhaps fishing ,in Mars we try putin out fishingnets. Also chopping wood we can do.
