Ideal for surfers, fishers, kayakers, birders and all who enjoy the sound of the rumble of the sea….at the edge of tropical jungle Two miles west of the tourist town of Santa Catalina you will find a small slice of paradise. Remote enough to keep the cars at bay , close enough to enjoy a nice walk to town. Welcome to our camp.
From Southern California. First traveled to Panama as a Peace Corps Volunteer shortly after graduating from UCSB. Been a resident here for nearly three decades!!!

I’m fluent in Spanish and always willing to help with learning the language. Nearby local neighbors give the opportunity to learn their way of life…it’s tropical country living: simple and off the beaten path.
Arbeit
Basic help to help build trails, tent sites, and general ‘camp’ maintenance. Carpentry skills is a bonus. Cooking , cleaning and sharing meals is part of everyday.

Surf, fish, kayak, and lots of birds!! The town of Santa Catalina and all that it has to offer is a 35 minute walk from the camp.
