  Beschreibung

  We came to France 10 years ago. The original idea was to build a high-end rural retreat for stressed out urbanites. This went somewhat awry after we were duped by one builder who completely miswired the complex. This meant we had to more or less begin all over again... So we have a tennis court and a swimming pool but not yet a functioning house. Meantime our second property in the village is standing forlorn and unloved. We wanted to landscape this and make it into an eco-project from scratch to suit the environment of the Pyrennees. That really is about it. In our former live we made documentaries. THAT was a whole lot easier and less stressful. Mais c'est la vie

  We are currently most interested in people who enjoy doing landscape work and gardening. We would however also be interested in hearing from people who work with wood - ie have experience of laying and/or sanding floors.

  Unterkunft

  From mid-April 2012 maybe mid-March we will have a small bungalow equipped with a kitchen and shower. We currently live in this and find it very comfortable. However, our hope is to shortly move into one part of the main house...

  Was noch ...

  Alongside taking advantage of being so near the Pyrennes, there is the possibility of doing extreme sports.... We are in between Toulouse and Carcassonne. We would envisage ferrying people around to some extent but probably would have to hire another vehicle if anyone was around for a considerable length of time. Really all depends on the person
