  Hi!
  
  We are Tanja, Martin, Noah and Jonah and we have created our dream of our own little paradise for ourselves, our children and loves ones here in Styria, in the “Green Heart of Austria”, in the idyllic village of Gaal. In 2010 our vision was to find a place, where we could combine our detached house and our alpine hut and that's why we ended up right HERE. We found a property with an existing house with a huge, 7800 m², undeveloped garden, where we could let off steam and realize our visions. Our property is now divided into 3 areas, where we can hang out as we please. Our "driveway" forms our fruit trees meadow which leads to our "living area" with our house, an holiday apartment, two terraces, a pool, our forecourt, some flower beds, vegetable beds, the berry garden and a huge play area. Then there is our "chill area", consisting of many different deciduous trees that provide great shade in summer, a tipi and the large birch circle, which contains the campfire area and the sweat lodge area. Our vision was to create a “place to meet” where you can relax and exchange ideas.
  
  We have an apartment on the ground floor, which we sometimes rent out, especially in summer and winter. You will live in this apartment when you are with us. You will receive it cleaned and we would like to get it back cleaned again. I would like to expressly point out that wwers will not be helping with any spaces used by paying guests, including cleaning, construction and maintenance, as this will be done by myself or a cleaning company.
  
  Jonah and I are away half the week for school, so we can always use help with our private household and garden. We mainly need support in our garden in spring and autumn. If anyone would like to visit us outside of gardening time, our private house is open! You are always welcome to help out with in or around our private house, depending on your Wisches and technical skills :-) So we would be happy to talk to you before you arrive about which activities are currently in demand.
  
  Another reason why we are doing this here is because we would like to improve our English skills. Noah, our older son, speaks English almost fluently. Martin and I are able to communicate and Jonah, our younger son, is still learning.
  
  I would describe us as a friendly and cosmopolitan family that likes to think outside the box. We love being in nature, camping and traveling to other countries to learn more about other countries, people and cultures. We like to be out and that's why we registered on this platform to get to know new people and at the same time find support in our private house and garden.

  Adjacent to our property there is, in addition to our neighbors, two restaurants, a leisure facility with a swimming pond, football/tennis and volleyball courts and the Gaaler ski paradise. Our region is wonderful for cycling, hiking, skiing, skitouring, fishing, motorcycling, looking for mushrooms and herbs, ... which is why tourists come here again and again to enjoy their time out in the breathtaking nature.
  
  For all motorsport fans, the famous Red Bull Ring is just 15 minutes away. There you can find al lot of action and adrenalin.
  
  In order to get to know our area, our country and our culture better, you can reach the nearest town, the train station and also the motorway in just 10-15 minutes by car, from where you can discover the whole of Austria.

  Arbeit

  Depending on the season, there is always something to do in our garden and we are always grateful for help around the house. I would like to say, that basic cleanliness is always present.
  Activities required in the garden: looking after and keeping our garden and paving stones clean, caring for fruit trees, flower beds, vegetable beds, berry bushes, weeding, cutting bushes and fruit trees, trimming the lawn, collecting leaves, harvesting fruit and vegetables and possibly processing them into juice and jam. Remove cobwebs from outside walls,...
  Private Household activities: general support by appointment, such as cleaning windows, vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting, doing laundry, perhaps cooking, etc.
  Occasionally required craftsmanship: painting a room, building or repairing a wooden fence, plastering walls, ...
  
  Activities and number of hours as required and previously agreed :-)

  Unterkunft

  You can live in our 70m² Guest apartment on the ground floor. It is fully furnished, has a kitchen, a children's room with 2 single beds, a bedroom with a double bed, a TV, free WiFi and also its own sauna. So you are welcome to come with your family. You are welcome to use our garden and everything around it by arrangement. We can eat together if you want, you can also cook by yourself. As you like. We are flexible and work together to make it work for all of us.
