  Hello, I live in the Cévennes in a small, quiet village close to nature. Several hikes are accessible on foot from my accommodation. My village allows you to visit (by car) the Gorges du Tarn, the plateaus of Méjean and Sauveterre as well as the villages of Florac-Trois-Rivières, Pont de Montvert and Saint Germain de Calberte. I have a dog (Gaia), a cat (Le Chat), 6 chickens and 2 goats (Pelote and Chaussette). I started a small vegetable garden and a forest garden.

  Je vis dans les Cévennes dans un petit village calme et proche de la nature.
  Plusieurs randonnées sont accessibles à pied depuis mon logement.
  Mon village permet de visiter (en voiture) les Gorges du Tarn, les plateaux de Méjean et de Sauveterre ainsi que les villages de Florac-Trois-Rivières, Pont de Montvert et Saint Germain de Calberte.

  Lots of activities are available in Lozère during the spring and summer (you need a car though). Learning a simple life in contact with nature (I would like to move towards self-sufficiency in the future but for the moment I am still far from that...)

  Arbeit

  The volunteer (or couple/2 friends) will have to take care of the animals and the house during my vacation. This corresponds to about 3 hours per day of very simple mission but requires loving to take care of animals because here they are part of the family (and are not just farm animals).
  
  The tasks will be to feed the cat (and scratch/pet it), feed the chickens and clean the chicken coop, walk the goats at least 2 hours per day and take care of watering the vegetable garden.

  Le bénévole (ou couple/ 2 amis(es)) devra s'occuper des animaux et de la maison durant mes vacances.
  Cela correspond à environ 3h par jour de mission très simple mais nécessite d'aimer s'occuper d'animaux car ici ils font partie de la famille (et ne sont pas seulement des animaux de ferme).
  
  Les taches seront de nourrir le chat (et le gratouiller/ caresser), nourrir les poules et nettoyer le poulailler, promener au moins 2h par jours les chèvres et s'occuper de l'arrosage du potager.

  The volunteer(s) will have a large studio with a sunny terrace at their disposal. All food will be provided but the volunteer(s) will have to cook their own meals.

  Hiking and rivers nearby. If you want to discover Lozère and the Cévennes (Florac, Pont de Montvert, Gorges du Tarn, ...) it is better to have a car. I will be there the first week to supervise you and show you the walks and nice places nearby. Then you will be independent and manage your days as you wish when I am on vacation.

  Randonnées et rivières à proximité.
  Si l'on veut découvrir La Lozère et les Cévennes (Florac, Pont de Montvert, Gorges du Tarn,...) il est préférable d'avoir une voiture.
  
  Je serai présente la 1ère semaine afin de vous encadrer et vous montrez les promenades et lieux sympathiques à proximité. Ensuite vous serez en autonomie et gèrerez vos journées comme vous le souhaitez lorsque je serai en vacances.
