Lysan and I had an amazing stay with them. They are a very welcoming and loving family and have a lovely and lively home, full of laughter.

… read more going for evening walks. Since Lysan had to submit a university project while we were there she often was busy but Rikke was super understanding. Other than staying on their farm we managed to take a trip to Aarhus and Copenhagen which was great as well. We admire their family dynamic a lot and are grateful for our stay there!
Also, you can find the very best pizza (probably in all of Denmark) in this family :)

Everyone in our family loves Rico and we miss her dearly.
Rico stayed with us for one month. We felt like she was part of our family from the day she arrived.
Rico is easy going, fun, helpful and heartwarming. She happily helped both inside and outside the house, and easily motivated her self and others.

… read more shown us Japanese cooking and culture. She has improved the kids English skills, simple because they adored her so much that they just wanted to play with her all the time.
Rico spent her spare time with our family, reading books, talking to her family I Japan, having fun with other work away, going to the beach ect.
During her stay she had a great relationship with our other work away whom she will visit during her travels around Europe.
We dearly miss Rico and hope that we see her again on day.

It was such a beautiful stay at Rikke, Thomas and other cutest children.
Rikke replied me so quickly and allowed me to stay there. (Even though it was last minute.) It was sooooo nice of them.
The way they live is so surprising and amazing. There was much to learn from their sustainable way of life. Food was always really great! My favourite was

The best part of my stay is time with my children. Everyone is super friendly and sweet. I had so much fun with playing with them.(dancing, watching movies, making jewelries...etc) I was so happy that I could become a big sister of them. If you like children!? You definitely should so there! 1000000% recommended.
When it comes to work, it was super flexible. You can work whenever you want and wherever you want. I never set the alarm in the morning haha.
I mostly did cleaning weeding, cleaning the poops of horses.. But it was relaxing and I liked them.
The island of samsø is really amazing. There are beautiful beaches and beautiful scenery close to their farm. I sometimes visited there with their children and it was cozy and nice.
I already miss you guys so much. I really hope to come back and see you again.

… read more of work it is very relaxed, we had to weed , the basic cleaning of the house, harvesting strawberries, sharing with the children is the best since each one has an interesting world, the house is located approximately 2 km from a beautiful beach located in Ballen, samsø is spectacular for cycling and We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, we are deeply grateful for everything we learned there, how delicious we ate and the fantastic moments shared. Most of the food is Organic and all of it is delicious! I normally eat vegetarian but CHOSE to eat meat while there as it was all sustainably raised on the farm.
