  Welcome Humans,
  
  We are an international family living on a peaceful countryside property just outside Alghero, in northern Sardinia. Our land is filled with fruit trees — figs, pears, grapes, pomegranates, and more — and bordered by a river that flows to the sea.
  We bought this property with the dream of living closer to nature, creating a welcoming space for community, and sharing cultural exchange with people from around the world. Life here is about slowing down, enjoying the rhythms of the land, and connecting with others in meaningful ways.
  
  What you can help with:
  Caring for fruit trees and plants (watering, pruning, harvesting, clearing)
  Gardening and planting (lavender, herbs, vegetables, flowers)
  General maintenance (tidying outdoor spaces, keeping the land cared for)
  Sharing cooking, meals, and family life
  Creative contributions (art, painting, beautifying projects if you enjoy)
  Language and cultural exchange
  
  Life here is about slowing down together.

  Art & craft — my husband can share his knowledge of Venetian plaster and faux finishing
  Movement & connection — I offer women’s empowerment dance classes locally which Workawayers are welcome to attend

  I work in women’s empowerment and creativity, and my husband is an artist. We have a young child and love sharing life with people from different cultures. We are curious, open-minded, and grateful for simple living.
  
  Our vision:
  This is not a business. It is a family project, a place of cultural exchange, and a home we wish to nurture with the help of kind-hearted people.
  
  Location:
  We are just 7 minutes from Alghero, a charming town with cobbled streets and colorful markets as well as a quick scooter drive to some of the islands most amazing beaches. The property is surrounded by countryside, offering both peace and connection to nature. We look forward to meeting you!

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Alghero is a vibrant old town that was once inhabited by the Spanish. There is still so much culture infused in this place and the locals are eager to share with you their food, customs and language. The beaches here are incredible and the weather is lovely year round. I am originally from Hawaii while my husband is originally from Germany. Before we moved to Sardinia, Jasmine had multiple yoga and meditation studios in America. Andreas is a master of Venetian plaster and faux finishes and breaths art into everything he creates. We would love to share our dreams and life with you!

  Arbeit

  We would love help with light, everyday tasks around our countryside property. This includes caring for fruit trees (watering, harvesting, pruning), gardening (planting herbs, flowers, and vegetables), and general tidying of outdoor spaces. Sometimes we also enjoy sharing cooking, small creative projects (painting, art, decoration), or light family support if you enjoy being around children.
  
  The work is flexible and we like to keep it relaxed — usually a few hours a day with plenty of free time to enjoy Sardinia. We also love sharing cultural exchange: fire circles, family meals, creative practices, and slow living together.

  We have a small 20 square meter country home with an outdoor shower and kitchenette. You would also be welcome to camp on our land in a tent or with a camper van.
