  We are Céline and Julien from Belgium. We moved to Spain 5 years ago with our two children, Justin (16) and Charlotte (13), as part of a real life change we wanted to experience as a family.
  
  We opened a small hotel in Catalonia in 2021.
  It’s located in the north of Spain, in a tiny village called Montnegre — and when we say tiny, we mean it: there are only two houses! It’s just 15 km from Girona.
  
  Our hotel is nestled in nature, surrounded by forest, with breathtaking views of the Gavarres Massif.
  It’s a peaceful and rejuvenating place, with birds singing everywhere.
  The hotel is housed in a beautifully restored 15th-century masia (traditional Catalan farmhouse).
  We have six rooms — four doubles and two family rooms — and can accommodate up to 16 guests.
  
  WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  
  We are looking for a professional, responsible and passionate couple to join us on this adventure. A couple that is not afraid of hard work, who take pride in doing things properly and with care, who are meticulous and attentive to detail. A strong sense of responsibility is absolutely essential.
  Main tasks to be carried out by the couple
  
  80% of the time (shared between the two):
  * Daily cleaning of the rooms and common areas (according to the highest hotel industry standards)
  * Laundry and changing of bed linen and towels
  * Cleaning of the owners’ private house and laundry
  
  20% of the time (mainly in the low season):
  * General garden maintenance and small repairs
  
  WHAT WE OFFER
  
  * Two part-time contracts with irregular working hours, adjusted to the seasonality of the business, in accordance with Article 12.4.c of the Spanish Workers’ Statute and the Hospitality Collective Agreement of the province of Girona.
  
  Low season: 15/11 – 15/03
  Mid season: 15/03 – 15/06 and 30/09 – 15/11
  High season: 15/06 – 30/09
  Holidays are to be taken during the low season.
  
  * Salary in accordance with the Hospitality Collective Agreement of Girona
  
  * Furnished private accommodation included (Next to the main masia, there is a small private house with a double bedroom, its own bathroom with hot water and shower, a kitchen and living room, and a small terrace under a plum tree with a stunning view of the forest. There’s also central heating, as winter nights can be a little chilly)
  
  * Pleasant, family-oriented and stable working environment
  
  REQUIREMENTS
  
  Previous experience in hospitality, rural tourism or hotels (minimum 1 year)
  Hardworking, organised, proactive individuals with great attention to detail
  Valid work permit in Spain (essential)
  Driving license (category B) – at least one of the two people
  Knowledge of maintenance and gardening is a plus

  The hotel is located in a beautiful place with a spectacular view on the whole forest, wonderful sunset amazing birds everywhere. It is the perfect place for someone who need a break in his life, a change of life. For the nature lovers, it is the perfect place. We will offer the workawayer the chance to work with a small team (2 people) originating from belgium and who travelled a lot around the world. We speak different languages and are willing to share all our knowledge in well being.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for 2 persons to help us with:
  the laundry tasks, cleaning the rooms, cleaning the bed sheets, and cleaning the hotel. We are looking for someone who like things to be well done and who like doing his job well. Our hotel is a project from our heart so we are really willing to meet someone that will understand this and invest himself.

  Unterkunft

  We provide a small house with a double-bed room with private shower room, a private kitchen and living room.
  There are all the equipment needed so there is no need to bring anything.
  It is located at the back of the hotel in the old part of the masia. Everything is recently painted but it is still 'old-fashioned" like.

  Was noch ...

  During your time off, you can go for great walks in the gavarres, you can just sit down with a book in front of the mountain, or you can also visit Girona which is a beautiful city you. We will arrange an electrical bike so that you will have a way of moving easily to the city. we are located at 10 km from any shop but we drive down to the city every morning and every afternoon to drive the kids at school so if you need a lift, we will arrange that.
  And of course if you have your own car you can go to the beach which is located at 30 minutes from us o visit Barcelona which is at 1h from here (but you can also go by train), discover the valley with natural volcans, ....
