  Hey workawayers!
  
  We are Thomas, 26, and Alina, 29, originally from Germany but living in a beaautiful area on Corfu, Greece. As both of us travelled years ourselves using Workaway, we want to provide those great experiences for other travellers too :)
  
  We live in a big house with multiple bedrooms, surrounded by a huge garden full of veggies, herbs and fruits. AND lets not forget our most special family members, the cats and chicken! They roam free through the village, but mostly live in our garden. They will love to get to know you, we are sure!

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We just like to enjoy our time together. We want to give someone the opportunity to experience Corfu on a low budget, someone that likes to explore the island, go on hikes or hang out by the beach. There is no obligation to spend time together, however spending a nice meal together and having great conversation is something we really do like. Thomas likes to hike, cook and read a lot, I love yoga, spending time at the beach and being around the animals. We both share the pleasures of the garden and mediation, as well as boardgames. Come along any time!

  Arbeit

  You can spend your days helping in the garden, enjoying the sea view while harvesting the fields, planting seeds or feeding the cats. We are also happy for you to do the weekly clean-up, the dishes or the cooking. Tell us about your favorite workaway tasks or skills so we can fit your time with us to your liking, as much as ours :)

  Unterkunft

  In the house there are multiple guest bedrooms to choose from. As a standard for guests staying longer, our idea is to give you as much private space as possible, so you can feel at home! We have a studio in our house that acts as a guest-apartment with a big bed, a bathroom and fireplace. We can also provide a standing desk if you like. There is a direct entrance to the garden where in the morning, you would feed the cats before joining us for breakfast. Before you arrive we can speak about your eating habits or diet, so we have everything you need. We mostly eat organic food/bio quality, that goes for veggies, fruits, dairy products and meat, attempting to buy local as much as we can.

  Was noch ...

  Staying here in our village means having peace and nature throughout. If you are looking for a break on your own from your day-to-day life and wanting to enjoy the warmth of Greece, this is a good place for you.
  
  We recommend renting a car by the airport so you can drive wherever you want, exploring the island. There is also a bus driving from our village to Arrilas (the closest beach, 15 min drive) and to Corfu town (40 min drive). The closest supermarket, cafes and small shops are 5 min walk away in Agros.
  
  To get to the bigger supermarkets, you can join us on our weekly shopping or drive there on your own, we point you the way :)
  
  Thomas and I both work from home. Thomas is a digitalization manager and I am the manager of a company. There is no Wifi in the house, a sim-card or hot-spot from your phone to laptop however usually works perfectly.
  
  We are happy to adivise and answer any questions you might have.

  Our house is perfect for digital nomads and people exploring the island. there is plenty of space for you to work and relax on your own or in the shared areas. We can provide you a portable standing-desk and the workaway tasks can be moved around the day, should you want to be out around the island.
