  Our place is all about slow living, good vibes.
  We are located near Mahébourg, one of the most local village in Mauritius.
  The hostel is located 100m from the beautiful blue bay beach.
  
  Mahébourg is full of charm: colorful markets, local food, friendly people, and easy access to Blue Bay Marine Park, Pointe d’Esny.
  Im Candice, 31 years old and it's always been my dream to create a space where i could welcome guests from all over the world . You will be in contact with me and the rest of the staff. I want to create a vibe where everyone is respectful and happy and make you feel part of the team :)

  Cultural exchange is at the heart of mauritius. We love creating a space where people from different backgrounds can meet, share stories, and learn from each other.
  
  Workawayers will have the opportunity to experience real Mauritian life, from local food the monday in mahebourg,
  as Mahebourg is a small local town it's easy to meet the people from the village and share with them
  you will be aswell invited to the locals culturals events such as the indian celebrations : divali, cavadee..

  Arbeit

  Workawayers will help with the daily life of the hoste for 4-5 hours a day, meanly in the morning for
  
  Welcoming guests,cleaning common areas (living spaces, bathrooms, kitchen), making beds and light housekeeping between guest check-outs
  
  
  The atmosphere is relaxed but respectful, and we value good communication and teamwork.
  In return, you’ll get accomodations, breakfast and sharing lunch and diner during activities.

  Unterkunft

  You will have your own private room and sharing commun area :)
  For the meals, breakfast is included, 2000 rs for grocery for lunch and diner per week is included and you will always be invited to the sharing diner or special event at the hostel.

  Was noch ...

  During their time off, you will have plenty of opportunities to explore the area and enjoy island life. Mahébourg is a great base to discover the south and east of Mauritius. Nearby where the hostel is situated you will be on Blue Bay beach and the Marine Park is so beautiful for snorkeling, a bit fearther you have Pointe d’Esny Beach for swimming and walks along the beach,
  There is plenty of small restaurants and cafés between Mahebourg and blue bay
  You can go for a day trip discover the island vibes
  
  Public transport is easy to use: buses run regularly from Mahébourg to many parts of the island and are very affordable if you have time :)
  Taxis are also availabe, and renting a car is a good option if you want more freedom to explore beaches like Le Morne or go on day trips.
