  Hello,
  
  we are 2 german emigrants. Since February 2019 we live in Guatemala City and moved 3 years later to Antigua. In July 2019 we have taken a funny & wild street dog, Caipi. She is very friendly, playful, full of energy and loves nature.
  
  My name is Svenja (35), and besides travelling, sports and taking care of our twins, I love to write down all my travel experiences on my travel blog "wild and free traveldiary".
  My partner Georg (40) is a teacher at the German School in Guatemala City and teaches math. That´s also the reason why we moved to Guatemala.
  
  We are very open and helpful people and would describe ourselves as quite uncomplicated. We also love to have guests and to connect with people from all around the world.
  
  We live in a save Condomiño in Antigua, at the Southern part. Here it is very peaceful & calm. You will have your own room with your own bathroom. The house is a typical colonial style Antigua house.
  
  Sometimes we are on vacation, sometimes we do weekend trips without Caipi. Then we need a full-time dog sitter, when we are not around.

  DO YOU LOVE D O G S?
  
  We need somebody who takes care about our dog Caipi, when we are not around. Sometimes it is just a weekend, sometimes in our holidays for some weeks.

  We will be on holiday and need you for DOG- & HOUSESITTING! We could offer you a car to explore the area of Antigua if you are a good driver and a responsible person who knows how to travel with a dog and can speak Spanish if there are some problems!
  
  Y.O.U.R J.O.B:
  Working-time: WHEN WE ARE NOT AROUND you are here as a full-time dogsitter. So you are responsible for Caipi during the day. Walk Caipi in the morning, midday (longer) and evening. Give her food (dog-dry-food) and water. Play with her, cuddle her, all the things dogs love :) You don't have to be around her all the time! In between you have leisure time, to chill, read, work online, enjoy Antigua, ... whatever.... Also we have a garden with lot of plants. If it doesn't rain, you have to watering the plants.
  
  REQUIREMENTS:
  ➳ You must love dogs.
  ➳ It would be good if you already have knowledge about dogs & if you are used to dogs.
  ➳ You should be a trustful, friendly, open-minded person who knows how to live together with other people.
  
  !!!!!!! ➳ For the longer stays, you SHOULD NOT EXPACT TO TRAVEL THROUGH GUATEMALA A LOT! If you are a good driver who speaks spanish, than you can explore the area of Antigua with our car. So if you are a digital nomad or something like this, you would be the best fit, because 4 weeks just in Antigua could be long. So you can combine your work and taking care of Caipi in our idyllic house! What do you think?

  Unterkunft

  You will stay in our beautiful House in a Condomiño (= gated community) at the southern part of Antigua. It is save and you can walk to the center of Antigua. You need approximately 10-15 minutes. In the night it is recommended to take a taxi/uber.
  
  You will have your own room with a comfortable queensize bed with your own bathroom with hot shower. If we are not around you can stay also all the time in the living room or kitchen for work and chill :) If we are here, also accept our privacy.
  
  You can use our Wifi (because internet-data-connection is not good here), the kitchen, the washmachines, the hammocks! Feel like home!
  
  Food: To prepare your food you can use our fully-equipped kitchen. The BODEGONA Supermercado is not far away, maybe 20 minutes to walk.

  Was noch ...

  ➳ We would like to get to know you before we decide if it is a good fit. So a WhatsApp call or a Skypedate would be great.
  
  ➳ If you WORK ONLINE, you can do it also in between you take care of the dog. The WIFI is good in our house.
  
  ➳ In your TIME OFF you can visit: Vulcano Pacaya to see lava, city Antigua, Lago Atitlan or El Paredon for some Surflessons (Pacific coast).
  
  ➳ November - April is the dry season in Guatemala. So the weather is perfect :) Normally it has around 25°C and sunshine during the day.
  
  ➳ ALSO 2 workawayers can stay at our place (if you are a couple etc.). You have to share the room and the Queensize bed.
  
  ➳ Normally we rent the guest room upstairs, in the first floor, while we are not here. So maybe also another person/couple will be in the house. But they will be only upstairs, cause they have their own kitchen/room up there.
