  Welcome to our friendly hostel on the beautiful island of Koh Tao, Thailand.
  
  Our hostel brings together travelers, divers, and ocean lovers from all over the globe. Sharing great stories, vibes and experiences. Whether this is your first time volunteering or you’ve been exploring for years, we’d love to hear from you.
  
  Our team is small, but strong:
  
  1 Manager - the organised one
  1 Activities and Events Coordinator - the fun one
  1 Receptionist - the knowledgeable one
  2 Cleaners - the real MVPs
  
  And then there’s our Workaway friends - amazing people from all over, that help us keep the energy flowing.
  
  Together we are a family - social, easy-going and care about creating a safe space.

  We believe travel is about connecting with people, cultures, and the world around you.
  
  Koh Tao is a small island, but one that is full of charm, community spirit and a mix of cultures. Here you’ll meet locals, expats and travellers that have fallen in love with island life - each has a story to tell and something to share.
  
  Living with us, you’ll be an advocate for island life, promoting all the wonderful things this island has to offer - from jungle parties and snorkel tours, to scuba diving and hiking. You’ll be an integral part of that experience for our guests.
  
  You’ll also have opportunities to scuba dive as part of your volunteering package.
  
  Doing tasks, laughing, and exploring together builds friendships. Many volunteers make friends for life and stay in touch long after moving on.
  
  You’ll learn patience, adaptability, and self-awareness - not from books, but through daily island life, team work, and spontaneous moments of connection.
  
  So bring your curiosity, your stories, and your good vibes. Join us in celebrating the beauty of diversity, connection, and shared experience.

  We’re looking for open-minded, friendly and reliable people to join our little team. Volunteers play a huge part in what makes our place special. You keep the energy alive, create connections and make guests feel welcome. We want everyone to feel part of the family, and join us in enjoying this perfect little island. Our goal is to create a relaxed, friendly, and social atmosphere where travelers can meet, laugh, and feel right at home.
  
  Typical volunteer roles include:
  
  Welcoming guests and helping with check-in and check-out
  Engaging with guests and making everyone feel welcome
  Sharing local tips about Koh Tao
  Providing information for island activities, from scuba diving to jungle parties
  Assisting with daily guest activities, including hiking, sunset viewpoints, games, movies, etc
  Assisting with hostel tasks, such as organisation, keeping shared spaces clean and tidy
  Offering creative or social media help - we’d love your input in capturing the vibe online
  
  We love when volunteers bring their own ideas too, whether that's a morning yoga session, themed dinner, quiz night, or beach game tournament. Anything that adds fun and connection is welcome here!
  
  Koh Tao is not just where we work - it’s our home. As part of the family, you’ll have the chance to join us for:
  
  - Beach clean ups and eco projects.
  - Shark and Turtle surveys
  - Helping at the local dog shelter when extra hands are needed.
  - Supporting community initiatives that promote sustainability and education.
  
  We care deeply about this island and believe every small action helps protect the ocean and community we love.
  
  We’re not expecting you to be an expert, but just bring:

  We want your stay to feel easy, be comfortable, and enjoyable.
  
  Our volunteers share a 4-bed air-conditioned dorm, located right at the hostel. It’s secure and private. Perfect place to chill when you’re not taking part in hostel life.
  
  You will have your own bed, comfy mattress, clean linen, and personal reading light. Your room has a private bathroom and shower, separate to the rest of the hostel.

  Life goes far beyond the hostel. When you’re not helping out, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the island, try new experiences and enjoy the relaxed pace of island life.
