You should be a morning person or don't mind being up early and prepared for an active day ahead of you.
Snorkeling business / Sea kayaking business in the quiet North Side of Mykonos away from the parties and in the nature of Mykonos. We are two brothers offering nature tours by Kayaking and Snorkeling activities plus some Sup rental. We have been operating since 2011 in Mykonos and are locals. We are expanding to daily Snorkeling adventures in the beautiful sheltered bay of Panormos beach from the beach. We offer Nature Tours talking about the wild herbs of the North of Mykonos and exploring the coastline by sea kayak.
We have a summer Base we set up in Spring till Autumn in the North of the island close to our watersports center.

Relax on the natural side of a very busy and vibrant Greek island. The house is close to the beach with a wonderful view. Enjoy warm days with blue skies. We are both quite busy so time together after work is limited but we still like going for evening hikes and just enjoying the nature when the sun drops a bit. Learn about nature , guiding and relaxed island life with us.

Arbeit
We are looking for chilled nature lovers who are clean and self motivated and are able to look after themselves including making their own meals. We are looking for two friends who want to spend their summer in Mykonos . They should enjoy relaxing by the beach and are not party people. We are looking for people who would like to learn or already enjoy snorkeling. Training will be done to a level with helping in tours and also learn kayaking skills to also help in kayaking tours.
It's is daily work from 8.30 till 13.30 except Saturdays and Sundays. It is beach work (Snorkeling, kayaking or just staying at the beach incase of a rental) with some daily maintenance.
What your day might look like:
Make your way to the kayaking site 20 minute scenic walk to the beach.
8.30 set up kayaks and equipment for the morning nature tour.
9 greet guests and prepare the lesson
9-11 join the tour or set up for next tour
11-12 join next tour or gather equipment from morning tour
12-12.30 back to base for maintenance and prep equipment for the next day.
Training and fun will be done in the evenings when the days are more chill,
Some days will start about 2 hours later on in the day and finish to hours later. 10.30 to 15.30
The pay is 447,21 € euros per month
The hourly wage is 4,96 €.
Accommodation is free.
With your stay with us you will also be trained in nature guiding by sea kayak , snorkeling and marine life plus local wild herbs and environment.

Unterkunft
Accommodation with bed (sheets pillow cover included) .The room might be shared or private depending on the amount of workawayers.
We will offer ingredients for breakfast like bread, cereal, milk, oats . There is a two gas rings for cooking and a fridge plus utensils. We don't use an oven. Also there is a small espresso maker and kettle.

The house is 20 minutes walk away from work. We are away from the busy side of mykonos with no transportation. To walk into mykonos town it's about 1 hour 30 minutes but from there they are many busses to the rest of the island. Upon availability we are happy to drop you into town as long as you expect you will usually find your own way back . Enjoying walking is a plus as taxis here can be 35 euros one way.
We are also part of the Mykonos Animal welfare and we organise some tours a year as a fundraiser for the difficult winter months . That means that our home in Mykonos also shelters a cat feeding station. We can have for 4 to 12 cats about usually some are regulars and some are just passing by. Our main time for looking after them is the winter as during the summer they preffer eating at the tavernas than from our feeder stations :)
