I'm of mixed Quw'utsun', English, French, Scottish and Irish heritage, with a background in carpentry and sport administration along with social, Indigenous and environmental justice. I'm an open minded person in my 30's who leads a fairly face paced life balanced with adventure and chill times.
Looking for help with cultural projects, woodworking, gardening and harvesting off the land and sea, with local friends chipping in on community projects and adventures. I'm also supporting various community events and gatherings to do with indigenous resurgence on the island. Come join us here! Huy ch q'u -thank you!

I enjoy working to some good tunes, hiking, paddling and heading out dancing or to yoga. Also hunting and food processing of all kinds in the fall. I am involved/ connected in with various local cultural, arts, sport, adventuring and land based activities here. I am part of a local indigenous restoration work at my families village site of Xwaaqw'um (Burgoyne Bay Salt Spring). Help out with summer youth camps, harvesting and processing local indigenous plants. Benefits during spring/ summer months are participating and learning from local Indigenous Elders and knowledge keepers. You can learn about local Indigenous land and sea use, and cultural experiences or learn the best spots to go hiking/ adventuring of all kinds!
Currently looking for help with: woodworking, and mechanical skills exchange ~ permaculture gardening, baking/ processing food, and cooking/ cleaning ~

Wildlife and Wifi! Live in a heated camper or airstream or tent in a quiet old growth maple and cedar forest, with heat, fresh mountain spring water, power, laundry and washroom/ outhouse/ showers available. Often sharing of meal prep, healthy eating all dietary preferences welcome. 5 minute walk to main road and bus line and hitch hiking spot- 12-15 min drive to town (Ganges). 10 min bicycle to Xwaaqw'um (Burgoyne Bay) or 5 min cycle to Hwnenuts (Fulford Harbour) in the other direction- you can borrow my bikes. Lots of mountainside hiking, ocean beaches, lakes etc. I have a stand up paddle board and canoe or kayak you can use too for ocean adventures.
Open minded people interested in sharing ideas on life, community. Sustaining ourselves through, living in and learning from the land and sea. Salt spring is paradise- so many rad lakes, ocean, beaches, mountains, hikes, artists, musicians, woodworkers (myself included) Saturday market etc. Google it if you haven't been here! Easy to get around the island and close to Vancouver and Victoria.
