[ UPDATE : HOUSESITTING possibility - from 10 of July till ~23rd of August. I am leaving for the summer and I am offering the funky paradise to housesitters. Requirements: driving license, basic spanish, responsibility, watering plants, maintainance tasks. Please only apply if you're available on the exact dates. Thank you! ]
In the last 10 years I workawayed on many travells and it's been always my favorite way of moving round and lifestyle. Now I have the luck to be on the other side and hold space in this beautiful funky nature paradise!
We're directly at Charcos de Quesa, which is a series of turquise waterholes and a waterfall that are part of the Rio Grande river, one hour south of Valencia. From the land there's a forest pathway that leads you in 3 minutes to the first waterhole and the river. 15 min by car to the nearest village Quesa, where there's places to eat and markets.
The area is called los Canales de Navarrez and it's very green, lots of pines, smelling herbs, with beautiful rivers, mountain goats, night owls and chanting cicadas. Many secrets spots, incredible hikes and caves to explore.
The house is an art | community | nature project. The vision is to create projects together, make art, contemplate nature and connect people.

My name is Jan. I'm half Polish half German, I'm 31 and it's my time to move into nature.
I've been studying Fine Arts and Animation for the last 7 years in Berlin and have travelled around around Europe, Mexico, Colombia and New Zeland. Nature inspires me to create and to be in peace.
I make sculptures from organic materials and make hybrid stop-motion animations.

Los últimos 10 años he estado en varios Workaway's en diferentes países y es mi estilo favorito de viajar y vivir! Ahora yo mismo tengo la suerte de poder ofrecer una experiencia para la gente y compartir este funky paraíso natural!
Estamos directamente al lado de los Charcos de Quesa. Hay una serie de charcos preciosos naturales con color turquesa y unas cascadas. Forman parte del Río Grande, y está a una hora al sur de Valencia.De la finca hay una senda que llega al primer charco en 3 minutos caminando. El próximo pueblo Quesa, está a 15 minutos en coche. Tiene mercados y bares para comer.
La zona se llama los Canales de Navarrez y es bastante verde, con muchos pinos, hierbas aromáticas, ríos hermosos, cabras monteses, búhos y cigarras cantando. Hay muchos lugares secretos y desolados, varias rutas de senderismo desde la casa y cuevas para explorar.
La casa es un proyecto de arte | communidad | naturaleza. La visión es crear proyectos juntos, hacer arte, contemplar la naturaleza y compartir tiempo mágico.

Me llamo Jan y soy medio polaco medio alemán. Estoy a punto de cumplir mis 30 años y ha llegado mi momento de moverme a la naturaleza.He estudiado bellas artes, video y animación en los últimos 7 años en Berlín y mientras tanto hice varios viajes en Europa, México, Colombia y Nueva Zelanda. I would like this place to be an inspiration to create art and it is open to anyone looking to connect and learn from nature.
Ask for video of the last art residency that I hosted.
Currently I am focused on my artistic projects ( sculptures and animations ) so I am looking for fellow artists / creatives to participate in the funky paradise experience.
For the moment it is rather a 1-2 people situation, rather than a community. ( but with possible dinners with people from other projects or escapades to events in the area ).

I invite you to use this contemplative scenery to dedicate to your own artistic practice and you are also welcome to use the workshop with welding tools, wood tools, lots of paints, wax, studio sound monitors, a PC with Adobe Suite and two screens, professional camera.
The texture of the rocks, the mineral complexity of the caves, the turquise contemplation of the river, the echoing spirit of the owl, the late summer sweetness of jasmin and fullmoon silence. The forest is an animistic force, full of tales, discreet messages and mystery. Let's explore.. <3
In my artistic practice I create sculptures using organic materials, metal, ceramis and wax. Those created phantastic creatures, psychedelic landscapes I then film and integrate into sophistiated digital animations mixing greenscreen footage of actors, drawings, stop-motion and videos. I also teach on-line animation and will happily share my knowledge!
I am happy share my spiritual practices as yoga, meditation, contemplation and plant medicines.
I am obsessivly listening to music. Theres everything between jazz, funk, hip-hop, house, world music ( loving african music ), electronic music, ambient music, soundscapes...

Me encantaria si este lugar fuera un lugar de inspiración artística y que esté abierto para cada persona que quiera conectar con la naturaleza.
Las texturas de las rocas, la complexidad mineral de las cuevas, la contemplacion de la turquesa de ls rios, los echoes del spiritu del buho, la dulzura del jasmin por la noche y el silencio de la luna llena. Estamos respirando el monte, el bosque es una fuerza animistica, llena de sus cuentos, y susurros místicos. Vamos a explorar!! <3
En mi arte creo esculturas con materiales orgánicos, ceramica, metal y cera. Los seres fantasticos y paisajes psicodélicos que surgen grabo con cámara y incluyo en compositiones digitales mezclando video, dibujo, actores y stop-motion. Tambien estoy dando clases de animacion y te puedo compartir cosas de video o escultura.
Aparte de esto, me interesan prácticas espirituales como la meditación, yoga y plantas maestras.
Soy un adicto a la música. Todo entre jazz, funk, hip-hop, house, música del mundo ( me encanta la música africana ), música electrónica, música ambient, soundscapes...

The help needed always varies throughout the year. You can count with : handy tasks , gardening, painting, diy .
The space is big so an awareness of maintenance and self initiative in cleaning is really important.

The house has three bedrooms and a living room + kitchen.
There a terrace in the first floor with an amazing mountain chain view!
We have 4ha of land with 200 olive trees, oranges, lemons, figs, algarroba and granadas. There a 150m long garden to plant.

La casa dispone de tres habitaciones y un salon + cocina. Hy una terraza en la primera planta con una vista maravillosa a la montaña. Tenemos 4 hectáreas con 200 olivos, naranjos, limones, higos, algarrobas y granadas.
Si te gusta acampar hay varios lugares escondidos y lugares para poner tu van o camper.

The area Canales de Navarrez is one hour south from Valencia. It's a green area, with a lot of pine trees, herbs, rivers and rocks. There magic of the area is that a lot of the places are not so much explored, so you end up beeing most of the times alone in nature and its wild.
There's a lot of beautiful places like Rio Fraile ( turquise waterfalls ), Barranco Morreno ( cave painting and crazy red rocks ), the waterfalls of Anna or the Rio Bolbaite.
One of my hobbies here is hiking, camping and discovering caves.
There's also beautiful neighbours with different projects around permaculture and spirituality. Some of them do workaway and we meet and exchange volunteers :)

Co Living :
I love sharing vibes with other people. Nature + People is my recepy for a happy life. We will eat together, cook, dance, make surpices to each other, do eachother favors and learn new things. The beauty of co-living.
We will also clean the house we're sharing, wash the dishes and bring out the compost. This needs a certain awareness in terms of sharing space.
It's important for the flow of co-living that we consciusly contribute and keep the balance of energy.
If you haven't got experience with co-living please let me know.

La zona se llama Los Canales de Navarrez y se sitúa a una hora al sur de Valencia. Es una zona verde, con muchos pinos, hierbas, ríos y montañas! La magia de la zona es que hay muchos lugares poco visitados y la mayoria de las veces uno esta solo en la naturaleza.Hay muchos lugares lindos como el Rios Fraile, Barranco Morreno de Bicorp ( pinturas rupestres ), las cascadas de Anna y el Rio Bolbaite.
Uno de mis hobbies es encontrar cuevas y acampar en ellas.
También hay varios vecinos muy lindos con sus proyectos de espiritualidad y permacultura que también reciben voluntarios y a veces intercambiamos voluntarios ;)

Convivencia:
Me encanta compartir tiempo con humanos. La naturaleza + gente es mi formula para una vida feliz. Vamos a comer juntos, cocinar, bailar, sorprendernos y aprender! La belleza de la convivencia.Tambien vamos a mantener la casa juntos, fregar platos y sacar el compost. Esto necesita una conciencia de compartir espacio. Es muy importante de contribuir conscientemente para mantener la harmonia energetica del lugar.Si no tienes aún experiencia con convivencia escribeme por favor!
