The Agrotourism is a family project that combines and manifests the most characteristic customs and expressions of the insular culture of Chiloé, this vast archipelago of historical importance is also recognized by the designation of SIPAM by the FAO which is an acknowledgment that describes the importance of Chiloe culture for the whole world.
From this heritage site we project ourselves to the world to transmit and share the wisdom and knowledge of these remote places, where nature is evident in the beauty and simplicity of the countryside.
The island of Chiloé and its archipelago of small islands is a territory populated 400 years ago by the European conquerors, however these territories were already inhabited by different indigenous peoples Williches and Chonos mainly. With more than 6,000 years of dating in some archaeological sites, it is because of this feature of antiquity that the population of the territory retains deep-rooted features

Es un proyecto familiar que combina y manifiesta las más características costumbres y expresiones de la cultura insular de Chiloé, este basto archipiélago de importancia histórica es reconocido también por la denominación de sitio SIPAM por la FAO el cual es un reconocimiento que describe la importancia de la cultura chilota para el mundo entero.
Desde este sitio patrimonial nos proyectamos al mundo para transmitir y compartir la sabiduría y conocimiento de estos remotos parajes, donde la naturaleza se manifiesta de manera evidente en la belleza y la simplicidad del campo.
La isla de Chiloé y su archipiélago de pequeñas islas es un territorio poblado hace 400 años por los conquistadores europeos sin embargo estos territorios ya eran habitados por diferentes pueblos indígenas Williches y Chonos principalmente. Con más de 6 000 años de data en algunos sitios arqueológicos, es por esta característica de antigüedad que la población del territorio conserva rasgos de profundo arraigo

Es una increíble oportunidad de intercambio cultural en un territorio reconocido por conservar sus prácticas ancestrales y tradiciones. La cultura chilota es fruto de un largo proceso de mestizaje y sincretismo, entre la cultura indígena (Williches, Chonos) la cultura agrícola española y una más tardía influencia de la cultura agrícola de los colonos alemanes que llegaron a la zona a fines del siglo pasado el fuerte mestizaje que se produce desde hace siglos en este territorio da por resultado una fuerte cultura con mucho arraigo e identidad. La cual combina el conocimiento agrícola y marítimo.
La alimentación expresa nuestra cultura. Conocerás la manera en que preparamos las comidas tradicionales tales como el curanto chilote, milcaos, caldillos, podrás también practicar la recolección de productos del mar, distintos tipos de mariscos y algas que podemos encontrar en nuestras costas.
En los humedales costeros el avistamiento de aves migratorias de ciclo anual, que comprende al total o casi la totalidad de la especie, así como también, la avifauna de campos y jardines de Chiloé resulta una experiencia inolvidable en la ruta del origen.

Type of help and learning opportunities:
We offer a 100% rural field experience, full of flavors from our privileged location on the Lacuy peninsula, ANCUD
- Help is welcome in the maintenance and construction of field infrastructures.
- In the garden learning is close to the land and we want to continue the traditions from an organic agriculture. The spring-summer activities are mainly: harvest of native species such as garlic, potatoes, raspberries, apples, blackberries, etc. Preparation of cultivation beds, planting, replanting of seedlings, fertilizing trees and shrubs, assembling composting piles. We are producing the food that we then consume and offer in the restaurant.
- Other tasks that we need for our project are web design, updating of social networks and marketing. IF you have skills in production of photographs, video or translation of texts from Spanish to English oriented to tourism.
- Collaborate on designs towards integration with permaculture and edible forests.
The stay is 2 weeks minimum
We provide 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
5 days a week
Free weekend
To maintain our family environment we can receive a maximum of 4 people and as long as we have a quota we contact those who request it in advance

Ofrecemos una experiencia de campo 100% rural, llena de sabores desde nuestra privilegiada ubicación en la península Lacuy, ANCUD
- La ayuda es bienvenida en el mantenimiento y construcción de infraestructuras del campo.
- En la huerta el aprendizaje es junto a la tierra y deseamos continuar las tradiciones desde una agricultura orgánica. Las actividades de primavera-verano son principalmente: cosecha de especies nativas como ajos, papas, frambuesas, manzanas, moras, etc. Preparación de camas de cultivo, siembra, trasplante de almácigos, fertilizar árboles y arbustos, armar pilas de compostaje. Estamos produciendo el alimento que luego consumimos y ofrecemos en el restaurante.
- Otras labores que necesitamos para nuestro proyecto son el diseño web, actualización de redes sociales y marketing. SI tienes habilidades en producción de fotografías, video o traducción de textos español a ingles orientado al turismo.
- Colaborar en diseños hacia la integración con la permacultura y bosques comestibles.
La estadía son 2 semanas mínimo
Proveemos 3 comidas al día (desayuno, almuerzo, cena)
5 días a la semana
Fin de semana libres
Para mantener nuestro ambiente familiar podemos recibir un máximo de 4 personas y en la medida que tenemos un cupo nos contactamos con quienes lo soliciten con anticipación

Hemos quedado 3 semanas y disfrutamos cada segundo. No solo aprendimos sobre la permacultura y la comida y cultura chilena, sino que también nos sentimos parte de una hermosa familia.
