I stayed with Angela for about a week and had such a great time. She’s super kind and thoughtful—on my first day I hurt my ankle, and she was so accommodating, always checking in and giving me tasks that were easy to manage and actually enjoyable.
She’s also an amazing baker! There was almost always a muffin or some kind of treat left out for me,

Her three cats—Moo, Squid, and Sharky—each have their own personalities. I’ll admit I was always a little scared of Squid (there’s just something mysterious about him!), but Moo and Sharky were absolute cuddlebugs. They’d always come right up to me, perfectly begging to be pet—it was adorable.
Overall, Angela’s place was cozy, relaxed, and welcoming. I felt really well taken care of, and I’d totally recommend staying with her if you get the chance!

Anna and Philip originally came to stay for two weeks—but ended up staying two months! And honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to share that time with.
Philip was incredibly handy and proactive. He built a fantastic rack for my commercial mixer stand so I could finally store my large trays underneath—an absolute game-changer in
… read more the kitchen. He also tackled a huge landscaping project, digging stairs into a sloping section of the yard, making it safe and accessible. On top of that, he mowed, whippersnipped, and generally just jumped into whatever was needed with skill and a great attitude.
Anna brought her own magic to the place. She’s wonderfully crafty and absolutely shone in the kitchen. She’d open the fridge, grab whatever was there, and whip up delicious, healthy meals—such a gift, especially for someone like me who’s usually the one cooking. As a trained pastry chef, she also helped out with my baking projects and became a sourdough master in no time. Her mixed seeded sourdough loaves were incredible (the apple, cinnamon, cranberry & walnut one still lives in my dreams!).
They were also both so lovely with my cats. Little Moo decided they were his people and slept with them every night. When they left, he sat outside in the rain, watching the driveway—it was the most heartbreakingly cute thing I’ve seen. And as for my little psychopath of a cat, Squid—who has a habit of biting everyone—he didn’t bite Philip often, and the two of them formed a special relationship that made everyone else a bit jealous. Now Squid has his own rope toy, because he’s such a lion of a cat. Ordinary cat toys just don’t cut it—he needs something powerful to sink his little fangs into, and the rope works beautifully.
Beyond all of that, Anna and Philip were incredibly kind to my mum, who’s recovering from a brain injury. They’d visit her, make her special treats, and help her when needed. It was genuinely touching and meant a lot to both of us.
They truly became part of the family—and the house feels very empty without them. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They’re welcome back anytime.
A bit late with our feedback but Angie was amazing! We had some nice chats and had very nice food. Espacially the baking is on point and I was able to learn some new things!
The work we did was very chill, mainly some gardening or garden cleanup. The good thing is that you can have your own input in the garden!

It was a pleasure hosting Max and his friend and their enthusiasm for the workaway program was immediately apparent.
They were always willing to lend a hand and get involved in the various tasks I assigned. While their helpfulness was appreciated, I did find that they required a good deal of guidance and specific direction to ensure tasks were

Robin was an absolute joy to have around.
We had a great chat about our personality types before she arrived and I explained how I like to have workaways help.

Angie was my first WorkAway host in Australia and I don't know quite what I was expecting but I definitely didn't imagine I'd leave with a lovely new group of friends in The Blue Mountains. Angie's friends are a fun and

The work was a good mixture. I really enjoyed getting to use some fun tools in the garden pruning trees! I also helped lay a laminate floor in the kitchen, a new skill for both me and Angie. Angie was very busy at the start of my stay but would always join in with gardening when she could.
Angie is an incredible cook and baker! It's a miracle (and genetics!) that I didn't gain weight staying with her.
The Blue Mountains is such a beautiful place to visit. I went on some beautiful walks and got to swim in some lovely waterfalls. Angie was always willing to take me along with her when she was going out or going shopping and she'd always give me a lift to the train station.
I have some delicious recipes I'm looking forward to cooking and baking for people at home (and at future Workaways).
I really can't thank Angie enough for such a lovely stay. I felt so comfortable in her house - being social was always an option but it was also okay if I needed quiet time. And thank you for introducing me to the Asian dramas! I will definitely change the family Netflix algorithm with those.

Utako-San was very sweet natured and very proactive and enthusiastic about her tasks and experiences.
She made friends easily and was neat and tidy, followed all house rules, maaged her own time and work schedule without prompting and was very kind to my pets.

Dear Angella and the cats
We(my friend and I) spent a lovely week at adorable house with three cutest cats(shaky, moo and squid). Angella was always kind and listening, and let us do as we'd like to. She is so busy as a dog trimmer, and we were always happy to help not only with weeding in the garden, but also dishes and laundry. She is a

It was only a week stay, but she took us to a spectacular lookout in the Bluemountain to see the sun going down, good restaurant, and even let us explore shopping center in city. Definately one of the most magical and facinating experiences in my life. I also loved the conversation with her mother who stays in the house time to time.
Thanks so much for your hospitality, Angie. I will visit Australia again in the future! I'm always wishing your success and hapiness. I loved norty Squid xD
本当にありがとうございました!これからも頑張ります。Angellaさんの幸福を祈って
