Nearby the highly interesting city Gent, hidden in green surroundings, you will find this beautiful place, a little secret garden. Unfortunately there are some things threatening it..... the noise from the nearby highway we can't do anything about but the invasion of brambles, nettles and ivy is stopable! Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and get rid of them?

This place is best for people or couples who are self organized and independent. We will provide you with all the information and tips but we are not always able to join you in extra activities. We can provide ideas depending on your interests.
Arbeit
We are working in the orchard and the forest, mainly getting rid of invasive plants. Important is to do it properly, digg up and pull out the roots. Also the garage needs to be cleaned and organised.
Works in and around the house. Not the most exciting jobs and you will get dusty but it isn't to bad and you will have enough free time.
You need basic bicycle fixing skills, as the first thing to do, will be fix the bicycle you can use during your stay.
Food is not included therefore we keep the working hours limited. Still we will show you places where to get cheap or free food. You can use the kitchen.

Unterkunft
You will stay in a wagon. It is not luxurious but comfy and off grid so basic facilities need some extra effort. There is no WiFi but you might see a beaver or kingfisher from your kitchen window. The highway is nearby, you will need to get used to it.

You can easily visit and explore the city of Gent. Historical city centre, plenty of museums and cultural activities, music, nightlife, ....it has it all! For 18/07 till 27/07 there is a big free festival al around the city.
If you are interested in arts and crafts, or just want to be creative, we will show where to go.
