  Beschreibung

  This is a small family enterprise situated in the middle of nature in south Albania. We are specialized in wild herbal teas and dried fruits. We also have a garden of fruit trees and vegetables, and we apply the permaculture technique. The meals are homemade, vegetarian and completely organic. We are a team of 5. Our house receives guests from all over the world during spring, summer and autumn. We are in love with nature, respectful towards it, and we are trying to protect and enrich the biodiversity and raise an awareness in this direction. We want to create a community of people around us, that work, think and live alike.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  You will be introduced to albanian culture and culinary and learn new recipes. You will be exchanging with other travellers from around the world and around Albania. You will make new amazing friends and exchange with locals if you will help to do the shopping for the farm from families around. You will also learn from Dane, our stone master if you help on the construction work.

  Arbeit

  Those travelers that will be part of our family , need to be very respectful towards nature and other people. We appreciate qualities such as: joyful, hardworking, multitasking and communication.
  Your help will be needed in the garden, to pick wild fruits and herbs, to process them. Other tasks are cleaning, shopping, guiding, reception and communication.

  Unterkunft

  We have a shared room for volunteers at the moment but we are working on creating individual rooms in the future. You will be provided 2 vegetarian meals a day.

  Was noch ...

  There are a lot of hiking trails around the farm and a nice big lake where you can go to swim. Vjosa River, the last wild river in Europe is just 17km away. Hot springs are also in the region. Gjirokastra, a beautiful stone city and a unesco site, is 58km away. There are also 3 huge gorgeous canyons around. You can visit everything on your free days if you have a car or use a bike from the farm. You can also join the activities we do with our guests.
