  Hallo! We live in a small village 10 km away from the beautiful town Marburg which is in the middle of Germany, 100 km northwards of Frankfurt…we live in an old farmlike house, together with our Friends. Ingolf works with stained glasses, I am working in a kindergarden. Our children are meanwhile grownups who left home for studies…Filou, the dog, likes to lay in the courtyard or to go for a walk

  The area is very beautiful, the burgwald nearby, the little village on top of a former vulcano amönburg, where you can have a nice view around the area ebsdorfergrund with its pitoresc villages. You can visit the historic town Marburg, where many famous people studied and lived as forinstance the holy elisabeth, for whom the famous elisabeth church was built, the brothers grimm, who collected the german fairy tales, or Emil von Behring, and many others...the surrounding landscape is picturesque and offers the many possibilities like biking , walking, riding, swimming, bowling, golfing, canoeing and lots of others, about an hour by car is the edersee, a quite big stausee, where sailing, biking, swimming, canoeing, camping and many other activities are offered.
  
  We are two couples with grown up children and live in an old fachwerkensemble cottage and if you like gardening , cutting wood, cooking baking and help what needs to be done, we would welcome you to stay with us for one or two weeks, either a single person or a couple, wherever you come from...I work in a waldorf- kita, Ingolf works with stained glas, Birgit is a doctor and Sebi a teacher for german , ethics and philosophy

  Unterkunft

  You can sleep in a separate room and we will share a bathroom and a living room together or you can bring a tent and sleep in the garden.
  We can cook together or separately, there is always the option for alternating cooking and grocery duties.

  There is a bus every hour, sometimes you may borrow a bike…if you‘ve got a car then you can explore the further surrounding as the edersee,…you can go to the cinema , the climbing or swimming hall, visit Art museums and so on
