Catsitting while exploring Stjørdal, Norway

  We are a couple living in Stjørdal in an appartement with our lovely cat Abi. Stjørdal is a small town on the coast, and hosts the airport of Trondheim, which is the nearest town and most tourist friendly in the area. We are looking for people who would like to take care of our cat and plants in the summer, when we are away for many weeks in Matylde's family. This summer, we are looking for the period between the 1st and 21st July, and are happy to spend a few days before/after this period together.

  Stjørdal is a small place, but you have the town of Trondheim 1 hour south (driving), and north are quite a lot of small places to visit, some historic and many natural landscapes around Trondheim's fjord.

  Arbeit

  We travel to France for family each summer, and we love to travel by train, which takes some time. So we are looking for people who want to take it easy and have a base in Stjørdal for maybe visiting the area while spending some time with Abi (the cat) and taking care of the plants, both inside and on the balcony. We are hoping to find nice and calm people who will want to offer some love to Abi for us between the 1st and 21st of July.

  Unterkunft

  The appartment is at the ground floor, 10 minutes cycling from the train station and center of Sjørdal (40min train to Trondheim center with beautiful fjord view the whole time). We have one bedroom and one guest room with sofa-bed.

  Stjørdal has public transport by bus and train with local prices to Trondheim, and you can get around without a car, but for visiting north or coming back late at night, renting a car might be a good idea.

  Abi

  Abi is 3 years old, quite independant cat now that we have installed a cat door. She lives outside at night, and spends the afternoons and evenings to sleep. She loves to sleep on people's lap when we sit in the sofa, and has for a habit to ask for cuddles on the bathroom mat when we brush our teeth. Shy cat, but really cuddly when she gets to know people.
