Beschreibung
The Community in is a christian community (Roman Catholic) with an ecumenical vocation. Couples, families and celibates, men and women, have chosen community life to follow Christ and serve the Church and the world. We give our lives to Unity. Everyone is welcome! You don't need to be a religious person to come help us, but we ask you to respect our faith as we respect others'. We encourage dialog and a simple lifestyle.
This is a religious house particularly for young people... We give priority to young people aged 18 to 30.
Nous sommes une communauté religieuse (catholique) à vocation œcuménique, elle est née d'un groupe de prière à Lyon (France). Couples, familles, célibataires consacrés hommes et femmes ont choisi l’aventure de la vie communautaire à la suite du Christ pour se mettre au service de l’église et du monde. Nous donnons notre vie pour l'Unité. Tous sont bienvenus ! Vous n'avez pas besoin d'être une personne religieuse ou croyante pour venir nous aider, mais nous vous demandons de respecter notre foi comme nous respectons celle des autres. Nous encourageons le dialogue et une simplification de vie.
C'est une maison religieuse particulièrement pour les jeunes... Nous donnons la priorité aux jeunes de 18 à 30 ans.

You'll have the chance to do tasks with others, with people from other countries and who speak different languages. However, our liturgy and daily life are mostly in French. You'll be invited to share your experiences and to discover a simple lifestyle in the French countryside.
Vous aurez l'opportunité de travailler avec d'autres, avec des personnes d'autres pays et qui parlent d'autres langues. Par contre, notre liturgie et notre vie quotidienne se passent surtout en français. Nous vous invitions à partager vos expériences et à découvrir un style de vie simple dans la campagne.

At the Abbey we have a vegetable garden and a big park. There is a lot of help needed in this big house, and all the daily tasks :
- Vegetable garden
- park (mowing, pruning, weeding...)
- laundry
L'Abbaye accueil de nombreux touristes amoureux du patrimoine. Nous avons un potager et un grand parc. Il y a beaucoup de travaux dans cette grande maison, et toutes les tâches du quotidien :
- travail au potager
- activités du parc (tonte, taille, désherbage...)
- lingerie

Unterkunft
We offer individual single rooms. Sharing your room with another workaway volunteer might be asked of you if we lack space. The toilets and showers are located in the hallway nearby and are shared. We expect you to clean your room and to participate in the cleaning of the showers and toilets.
We offer you the main meals (breakfast, lunch and diner) and also snacks. (Note: We do not cater for special regimes (Lactose/Gluten/Veg/Vegan/etc...):
We have unlimited internet connection available.
Alcohol and smoking are not allowed in the abbey.
IN JULY AND AUGUST: as we welcome a lot of young people, the accommodation is under a tent (that we can provide).
Nous proposons des chambres individuelles. Parfois, il peut vous être demandé de partager votre chambre avec un(e) autre bénévole workaway s'il manque d'espace. Les toilettes et les douches se trouvent dans le couloir et sont partagées. Nous vous demandons de bien nettoyer votre chambre et de participer au ménage des toilettes et des douches.
Nous vous offrons aussi les repas (petit-déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner) ainsi que le goûter. (Remarque : Nous ne prenons pas en charge les régimes particuliers (Lactose/Gluten/Veg/Vegan/etc...)
Nous avons une connexion Internet illimitée disponible.
L'alcool et la cigarette ne sont pas permises dans l'abbaye.
EN JUILLET ET EN AOÛT: compte tenu du nombre important d'accueil de jeunes, le logement sera uniquement sous tente.(Que nous pouvons fournir)

You'll have to arrive on a Sunday afternoon at 18.00 and leave on a Saturday morning around 10am(There is a MOBEA transport available to travel from the Abbey to the Train Station: )
Vous devrez arriver un dimanche après-midi à 18h00 et repartir un samedi matin vers 10h00(Il existe un transport MOBEA pour se rendre de l'Abbaye à la Gare : )

The scenery here is also very good. On the days without works, you can walk in the nearby mountains and see the beautiful view by the lake.
