  Beschreibung

  Hello everyone, it´s Sören, Mena and me, Jessica. We live together in a beautiful small village near the National Park Saxon Switzerland. Since our daughter is just born in September 2022, we´re looking for volunteers to help caring for her when I am going to write my Master thesis beginning in October 2023. Another reason for looking for a volunteer to live with us is that we´re interested in cultural exchange, especially as a good experience for our daughter.
  
  We love to travel, especially with our campervan we own for two years now. Hiking and riding the bike is our favourite. In winter we also love to go skiing.
  The place where we live is just right in the midst of nature. In our spare time we grow vegetables in our garden. We also do yoga and meditation on a regular basis. Sharing this activities with you would be great!
  Sören works as a psychotherapist and doctor in a hospital four days a week an I study in a master program for business administration.

  It´s not just the unique nature surrounding that we can offer. Dresden is a nearby town with long history and a lot of things to explore. It offers well known and good museums and has a nice nightlife area. We can also help you to plan trips to the nearby Czech Republic or other areas in Germany.
  At home we are also into singing traditional songs together and keeping regional traditions alive. You can learn how Germans live, including to teach you some German if you want. We want to include you in our daily live and of course also want to get to know your culture. Maybe you can teach us your language, too.
  We speak German and English fluently. Sören has some experience in French and I visited some basic Italian courses at university.

  Arbeit

  We want you to take care of our daughter Mena from Tuesday to Friday some hours each day so I can finish my Masters degree. Maybe it´s time to help in the household (laundry, shopping or cleaning) or do some gardening. But that´s no must. Weekends and mondays are off and you are free to travel (we can provide recommendations) or join us for activities.
  You do not need to have experience in taking care of children as long as you are interested in and feeling ready for doing it.

  Unterkunft

  You are going to have your own room in the first floor and share the bathroom with us. You are free to eat with us every day. We are vegetarians and try to buy a lot of regional and organic food.

  Was noch ...

  Rathewalde, the town where we live, is close to the main sight in the national park: The so called "Bastei". But there are a lot of other hiking and biking destinations nearby.
  Rathewalde has a small open air swimming pool, a child day care and a restaurant - beside that it´s really quiet here.
  Dresden as a very big town is not far away. You can use public transportation or our car to get to places you want to go to.
