Looking for someone skilled in crafts,not afraid of rainy days and who loves to cook for end of October&November
Always welcome: People skilled in craftmansship,with plumbing and/or repairing/building with wood.
Because of unfortunately dissapointing experiences in the past,in advance extra pointed out farm-rule:
No drug consuming!!!
We are a small organic farm in the south of Bavaria. Our wonderful animals make up the heart of our farm as we have horses, cows, calves (who run at least 12 weeks with their own mothers), oxes, bulls, chicken and cats. There's a beautiful garden, called Phönix, with vegetables, herbs and flowers, and about 4 hectares of woodland, too. . In the future we would like to make our own flour that we produce for our own consumption.
You could experience a deep connection to nature, almost independency with food, listening to the soil, the animals and the plants and look after their needs.
We are small,diverse,treating our animals as family,doing our best to increase soil-systems in gardening and "reverse" climate-change by planting trees. For all those steps,we are thinking are the right direction towards a better future for our planet,we don't get paid(also not for letting the calves run with their moms). We are putting our heart and time into this volunteerly and we need volunteers-you great guys! -to help us keep going.
I am 36 years old and would be very happy about someone joining this extraordinary gift with me.
I am listening and speaking a lot with nature, the animals and the plants, like that kind of a helping in a prayer of gratitude and being also a creater of natural art and harmony.
The vision/next step for the future of our farm is to found a kind of farm-family with different people living and helping together and living from the produce of the farm. So far there is as well just the farmer (61)....should change soon. Some of the greatest things around the farm is to walk through the woodlands, visit the rivers or the alp. We are an open-minded uncomplicated bunch and want to enjoy life in the harmony with nature.

Arbeit
You could help with the animals, cleaning the stables, feeding, walking into the pastures (some of our cows spend the summer on an alp) or just hug them. From spring to fall help is needed in the garden, during the winter we spend more time in the woods. We are trying to live from the fruits, vegetables, eggs, milk and meat of the farm
You don´t need special skills. Just love in the tasks with the creatures and the willingness to learn. We look forward to teaching you everything we know and learn from you, in return (for example Spanish :-) or just from your life experiences as a reflection-gift) and your vision of the world. You shouldn´t be afraid of big animals. If you are an artisanal person, there will be even more we could learn from you. -

Unterkunft
You will have your own room in the upper flat of the new farmhouse. This flat is very colourful. The guestrooms for example are pink,yellow&blue, the kitchen pink. We are cooking only on wooden-fire, most of the time vegetarian and gluten-free meals, but if you have special skills in preparing meat, I would love to learn from you.

Munich is not too far-bus transportation nearby. You would have your own bike during your stay. Essential:Please bring your own gum-boots and clothes which could get dirty (washing-machine around)!
