  We are a couple, Morgane (41 years old) and Rachel (36 years old) without forgetting our dog Bounty!
  Morgane in the coordination of agricultural projects in organic farming.
  Rachel works in socio-cultural animation and environmental education.
  Bounty, loves cuddling, nature walks and his bowl.
  We like concerts, festivals, nature walks, we like to sing, cook, entertain our friends, discover new places and alternative projects.
  
  We live in Grateloup Saint Gayrand in an old farmhouse of the 17th century in the countryside, between the rivers of the Garonne and Lot. We enjoy a pleasant setting and a beautiful view: we are surrounded by woods, fields, below flows the stream "The Rose"; the windmill of Gori and the Saint Gayrand Church decorate our landscape!
  
  Our farm consists of a renovated cottage (old stable) in which we live, a half-timbered house on three levels, a garage (former workshop) and a barn without roof. In addition, there are two old bread ovens and a plum oven. All this set is to renovate in respect of heritage with ecological materials (wood, lime, earth ...). We have around these buildings 2.5 hectares of land.
  
  Two years ago, we planted a 260m field hedge and about fifty young fruit trees of old and local varieties from the Regional Vegetal Conservatory of Aquitaine (47130 Montesquieu).
  We grow a small garden and we have an irrigation system for the garden and trees through our well.We also have a pond to restore.
  
  Our joint project is initially to restore the buildings and then to put in place aromatic and medicinal plants and to transform them for our future artisanal soap workshop.

  Rachel travaille dans l'animation socioculturelle et l'éducation à l'environnement.
  Bounty, aime les câlins, les balades dans la nature et sa gamelle.
  Nous aimons les concerts, les festivals, les balades dans la nature, nous aimons chanter, cuisiner, recevoir nos amis, découvrir de nouveaux lieux et projets alternatifs.
  
  Nous habitons à Grateloup Saint Gayrand dans une ancienne ferme du 17ème siècle en pleine campagne, entre les fleuves de la Garonne et du Lot. Nous jouissons d'un cadre agréable et d'une belle vue : nous sommes entourées de bois, de champs, en contrebas coule le ruisseau "Le Rose" ; le Moulin à vent de Gori et l’Église Saint Gayrand agrémente notre paysage!
  
  Notre ferme se compose d'une maisonnette rénovée (ancienne écurie) dans laquelle nous habitons, d'une maison à colombage à trois niveaux, d'un garage (ancien atelier) et d'une grange sans toiture. De plus, se trouvent deux anciens fours à pain et un four à prunes. Tout cet ensemble est à rénover dans le respect du patrimoine avec des matériaux écologiques (bois, chaux, terre...). Nous disposons autour de ces bâtiments de 2,5 hectares de terrain.
  
  Il y a deux ans, nous avons planté une haie champêtre de 260 m et une cinquantaine de jeunes arbres fruitiers de variétés anciennes et locales provenant du Conservatoire Végétal Régional d'Aquitaine (47130 Montesquieu).
  Nous cultivons un petit potager et nous avons un système d'irrigation pour le potager et les arbres grâce à notre puits.Nous avons également une mare à restaurer.
  
  Notre projet commun est dans un premier temps de restaurer les bâtiments et par la suite de mettre en place des cultures de plantes aromatiques et médicinales et de les transformer pour notre futur atelier de savonnerie artisanale.

  We will share our experiences of renovations, our thoughts on landscaping (fruit trees ...) since we arrived at the farm 4 years ago.
  
  
  Nous pouvons partager avec vous nos connaissances sur les plantes et la fabrication de savon. Nous pouvons vous faire découvrir les sites touristiques de la région...
  Nous vous ferons partager nos expériences de rénovations, nos réflexions sur l'aménagement paysager (arbres fruitiers...) depuis notre arrivée à la ferme il y a 4 ans.

  Arbeit

  This year, concerning the barn we have the stone walls to restore with lime and part of the frame to install. In the half-timbered house, we want to set up work plans for the temporary soap factory and install a bathroom.
  
  On the garden side, we have a caravan to supply electricity and water, a dry toilet and compost bins to build, a well to cover, areas to brush, firewood cut-off. Not to mention the maintenance of the garden.
  
  We also have a 2CV to repair, notice mechanics!
  
  All proposals for additional construction will be welcome, to the extent feasible.
  In short, here are not the occupations that are missing!
  
  People with expertise in masonry lime, carpentry, carpentry and DIY will have fun! And novices will be welcome as long as you have a good dose of willpower!
  
  Working days (around 5 hours a day, 5 days a week) vary according to the sun, rain, fluffing, energy, etc. Moreover, in general, you will have to participate in life. the place (household, kitchen, dishes ...)
  The weekends are free, we will make you discover with pleasure our region if you wish it according to our availabilities.
  We prefer to host for a minimum of one week! Then more (or less) depending on affinity.
  
  
  Cette année, concernant la Grange nous avons les murs en pierres à restaurer à la chaux et une partie de la charpente à installer. Dans la maison à colombage, nous souhaitons mettre en place des plans de travail pour la savonnerie provisoire et installer une salle de bain.
  
  Côté jardin, nous avons une caravane à alimenter en électricité et en eau, un toilette sèche et des bacs à compost à construire, un puits à couvrir, des zones à débroussailler, du bois de chauffage à tronçonner. Sans oublier l'entretien du potager.
  
  Nous avons aussi une 2CV à réparer, avis aux mécanos!!
  
  Toutes propositions de construction annexe seront les bienvenues, dans la mesure du réalisable.
  Bref, ici ce ne sont pas les occupations qui manquent!
  
  Les personnes ayant un savoir faire dans la maçonnerie à la chaux, la charpente, la menuiserie et le bricolage auront de quoi s'éclater!!! Et les novices seront les bienvenus aussi à condition d'avoir une bonne dose de volonté!
  
  Les journées de travail (environ 5h par jour, 5 jours sur 7) varient en fonction du soleil, de la pluie, des coups de bourre, de l'énergie etc… De plus, de manière général, il vous faudra participer à la vie du lieu (ménage, cuisine, vaisselle...)
  Les week-end sont libres, nous vous feront découvrir avec plaisir notre région si vous le souhaitez en fonction de nos disponibilités.
  Nous préférons accueillir pour une durée d’une semaine minimum! Puis plus (ou moins) selon affinité.

  Vous serez logés dans notre caravane ou sous votre tente (au choix).
  Nous partagerons avec vous la salle de bain et la cuisine de notre maisonnette.
  De nombreux espaces sont aménageables pour une cuisine d'été, salon de jardin, douche solaire...

  Was noch ...

  We are in the middle of the countryside, there is little public transport yet we live 15 minutes by car from the station Tonneins. If you are not transported, we can pick you up at the station. For other trips, we can lend you a bike, or the stop.
  
  Nous sommes au milieu de la campagne, il y a peu de transport en commun cependant nous habitons à 15 minutes en voiture de la gare de Tonneins. Si vous n’êtes pas véhiculés, nous pouvons venir vous chercher à la gare. Pour les autres déplacements, nous pouvons vous prêter un vélo, ou alors le stop.
