Hi there 👀
We are Omer and Justina, from Sudan and from Holland. We met during the corona time in Sinai. After some months together we decided that we want to stay here and create our own place together. This is when this camp came on our path. The owner is a Bedouin guy who was looking for people to manage his camp. He is in the desert most of the time so we are the ones responsible here. And we’re now at the very beginning of our journey! It’s very exciting and we are full of ideas and eager to create.
The place looks like a camp on the coastline of Sinai, with little huts to sleep in, few meters from the sea. The life here is very simple and very much in contact with nature and all the elements. Once we start, we will have 12 huts for guests to stay in, workers and hopefully some volunteers.
Come to enjoy the silence, the starry nights, good desert and sea vibrations, beautiful music, local Bedouin culture, nurturing food, health, healing. Welcome to the holy land of Sinai.

Come to experience a simple Bedouin life. Much of what fascinates us here is really the simplicity of life.
Also we will share our knowledge of gardening, building, cooking.
For the rest this place is really beautiful for live music, jam sessions, yoga and meditation, art.
There are many options for people that come to work here, and all your skills and talents are welcome.
First of all we are planning to make a garden. Not usual for this desert climate, but definitely possible. So one of the tasks is to take care of the plants, water them, help with the making of compost. Any knowledge about gardening is highly appreciated.
Secondly, we are planning to make beautiful art on the walls and to beautify this place. So if you’re handy with paint and brush you’re warmly invited.
Also we need some helping hands with building. We’re planning to build a few new spaces, for example for yoga and other kind of workshops. There will be a carpenter for this but any help is welcome and again this is a nice opportunity to learn a bit.
Another thing is that if you are a teacher in anything, for example yoga, dancing, tai chi, other movement forms, music, or anything else, we envision to provide workshops for the guests and surrounding people that are interested.
Also I (Justina) am really really eager to learn Arabic. So if you’re a native Arabic speaker we could practice Arabic for about an hour every day.
Lastly there are few loose tasks, anything at hand. Examples are fishing (to provide fresh fish for the guests and for us ;)) cooking for the volunteers, having fun with the guests. You name it.
You will stay in a wooden hut on the beach. Depending on the situation, how many people are here and how much space we will have, you can share a hut or have your own.
There will be three meals a day, cooked by the chef or by us (or by you ;)) and many delicious fresh fruits and vegetables.
There are many other beautiful places to discover in this area. You could for example take a trip to Dahab, which is a place of vibrancy and aliveness with a lot of shops, cafes, bars etc. Also there is a possibility of spending a few nights in the desert with a local Bedouin guide. There is one place which is super amazing, it’s called Wish Washi, and you will get there after about two hours of hiking through the desert and then suddenly arriving at a well full of fresh water!
Also you can take a trip to St. Catherine, in the middle of Sinai. It’s a lot cooler there and there are many beautiful gardens and a special herb doctor. Also the Musa mountain is there, the place where Mozes received the ten amendments. And a lot of local Bedouin crafts and amazing jewellery and clothes.
There is no wifi here, however, you can buy a cheap local sim card with internet, and in general the reception here is ok.
