  We are an organization dedicated to support indigenous communities and their lands, through projects for the conservation of natural and cultural heritage and traditional ecological knowledge.
  We have been working for 2 years now with the Mayan community of Yalcobá (near Valladolid) on agroecological projects and the reintroduction of native bees.
  We are also making an experimental center in the heart of the forest around permaculture, syntropic systems, agroforestry, eco-tourism, eco-construction and sustainable living.

  Somos una organización mexicana sin fines de lucro dedicada al apoyo a las comunidades indígenas y sus tierras, a través de proyectos para la conservación del patrimonio natural y cultural y el conocimiento ecológico tradicional.
  Trabajamos desde hace 2 años con la comunidad maya de Yalcobá (cerca de Valladolid) en proyectos de apoyo agroecológico y reintroducción de abejas nativas.
  Además, elaboramos un centro experimental en el corazón de la selva haciendo permacultura, agricultura sintropica, silvicultura, ecoturismo, ecoconstrucción y vida sostenible.

  We offer you an exceptional opportunity to discover the Yucatec Mayan culture, its actors as well as the richness of its cultural and environmental heritage.
  
  You will be fully integrated into our process and participate in our mission to support the local Mayan community of Yalcobá. Through this objective, you will be able to learn more about this culture, by participating in activities with the locals and by exchanging with them. The connection between several worlds and several ways of life is a basis for personal and collective enrichment.
  You will also be led to learn more about the themes of agroecology, forest gardening, eco-construction and ecosystem preservation.
  
  On your part, we will be very interested in new perspectives on our projects, new ideas capable of being materialized according to the capacities of each one and to be part of a network sharing the same vision of the world.

  Te ofrecemos una oportunidad excepcional para descubrir la cultura maya yucateca, sus actores así como la riqueza de su patrimonio cultural y ambiental.
  
  Estará completamente integrado en nuestro proceso y participará en nuestra misión de apoyar a la comunidad maya local de Yalcobá. A través de este objetivo, podrás conocer más sobre esta cultura, participando en actividades con los lugareños e intercambiando con ellos. La conexión entre varios mundos y varias formas de vida es una base para el enriquecimiento personal y colectivo.
  También se lo guiará a aprender más sobre los temas de agroecología, jardinería forestal, construcción ecológica y preservación de ecosistemas.

  We are a team of 4 young and motivated people, who are looking for volunteers to support us in the development of our projects.
  
  We are currently looking for a profile that can help us in the agricultural project with experience as a land worker and farmer.
  A good level of Spanish is required.
  We can also assign other tasks to the volunteer depending on his/her skills and knowledge.

  Somos un equipo de 4 personas jóvenes y motivadas, que buscamos voluntarios que nos apoyen en el desarrollo de nuestros proyectos.
  
  Actualmente buscamos un perfil que pueda ayudarnos en el proyecto agrícola con experiencia como trabajador de la tierra y agricultor.
  Se requiere un buen nivel de español.
  También podemos asignar otras tareas al voluntario en función de sus habilidades y conocimientos.

  Accommodation in Valladolid as well as in the pilot center of the organization. Both got a private room.

  Since the offices of the organization are in Valladolid, the volunteer would be to alternating between Valladolid and the experimental center in the forest.
  Fluent Spanish is strongly recommended.
