Beschreibung
Ciao, we are Cristina and Alessandro .We live in a small farm hidden in a secret valley on the hills a few minutes from Marostica but at the edge of the wood. This is an old stone farmhouse that we completely renoveted respecting tradition and energy self sufficency. We are in a old rural neighbourhood where you still live following the rhythm of the season , at night is still dark and you see stars and during the day you can see animals in thei habitat. On the farm live also one dog, 4cats, chickens and ducks, two donkeys and two sheeps. We have olives trees, two mixed orchards and one apple orhards of ancient varieties. Alessandro daughter and her boyfriend are coltivating the vegetales garden throught the market garden technique. Our project has many facetes ; we are currently looking for someone to help us in spring and summer time of the year in which the hospitality on a farm will be open.

Arbeit
We are looking for someone that help us in daily activities : animal care (feeding, cleaning ,walking), fruit picking and transformation into delicious jams and cakes.Watering plants, general maintenance of fields, of the house where we live and the swimming pool, preparing breakfast with Cristina, garden vegetable when necessary.Workawayers won't be helping with our businss or in spaces for paying guests

Unterkunft
the volunteer will have her/ his room in our house. The bathroom will be shared with me and Alessandro. We have two shower in the house and one outside with hot and cold water. The volunteer can enjoy the pool that we all share with guests.

We are on the hill 10 minutes by car from Marostica, around 90km from Venice.There is a bus stop 800mts from the house but please note that public trasportation is limited . From Marostica there are many buses that can take you to Bassano del Grappa or Vicenza and from there you can reach Venice, Verona by train. In any case there is always someone who goes down to the city almost every day. The climbs here are steep, so if you arrive by bike you need to have "good legs". If you come by car please let us know
