Here is not a touristic place though it's located in ancient Anuradhapura. But the history of Rajanganaya goes back to during the king periods. It's proven by some remains still alive from ancient livings around the village. The village is pretty big. But we are located in a most beautiful location of the area surrounded by two huge reservoirs, two rivers, some ancient archeological places and stretch of paddy fields. Most are paddy, vegetable and fruits farmers. From few beautiful view points in the village, you will see stunning views over the stretch of paddy fields, dotting tanks, and beautiful sunset over the green vegetations. If you take public transport from here easily can do a day visit to Anuradhapura, Mihintale, Thanthirimale Rock temple and Awukana Rock Buddha statue. And also you can do a bicycle ride to visit reservoirs, rivers, ancient temples & view points around the village.
