  Welcome to our profile! We are a small, warm-hearted family living in Nardò, a charming town in Southern Italy, close to the sea. We are looking for a responsible and kind English-speaking au pair who is genuinely passionate about children and early childhood education.
  
  We have a 2-year-old daughter and are looking for someone who can assist us in the afternoons with her care, play with her and teach her English.
  
  You will have your own private room, meals included, and plenty of free time to explore the beautiful Salento region. We are happy to welcome someone proactive and creative.

  As an Au Pair in our family, you will have the opportunity to experience authentic Italian life in Nardò, a beautiful and historic town in southern Italy, located in the region of Puglia. Nardò is full of charm, with Baroque architecture, local traditions, and a vibrant community.
  
  You will be welcomed as a true member of the family. We speak Italian at home and are happy to help you improve your language skills, while also eager to learn about your culture and language in return. We love sharing meals, stories, and traditions, and we believe that cultural exchange is a wonderful way to grow together.
  
  You’ll have the chance to explore the local area, enjoy the stunning beaches nearby, participate in festivals, and get to know the rich culture of Salento. If you're interested, we can also support you in finding Italian language courses or cultural activities in the area.
  
  For us, the Au Pair is more than just someone who helps with the children—she becomes part of our daily life, our celebrations, and our memories.

  Arbeit

  Your weekly schedule will include around 25 hours, mainly in the afternoon. You will have free time usually in the morning and on sundays. Giovanna still naps in the afternoon and enjoys outdoor playtime.

  Unterkunft

  We offer a private room in our family home in Nardò, a beautiful and historic town in southern Italy, just a few kilometers from the sea. The room is comfortable and fully furnished. Depending on availability, you may have a private bathroom or share one with the family.
  
  Our home includes a large garden and a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing during your free time, especially in the warmer months. You will also have access to the kitchen, shared living areas, and fast Wi-Fi throughout the house.
  
  We live in a quiet and safe neighborhood immersed in nature. The historic center of Nardò is 15 km away distance, you can arrive there by car or bike. The beautiful Ionian beaches are just a short drive or bike ride away.
  
  Meals can be shared depending on the agreement, and we are happy to introduce you to traditional Italian and Salento dishes. We want you to feel at home and enjoy both the cultural exchange and the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle!
